This property management company may be much better than I can review in their local area (Cary NC.) The listings they have in the fayetteville market are beautiful property’s but extremely difficult to gain viewing access to.

Do not rent from Block!! This is my 4th time getting this rail fixed. It has been like this for 3 months! I have kids! Dangerous! I have to harass over and over for anything to get fixed. Doesn’t matter if it is the toilet, fridge, rail. I have to call over and over and over and most times things still don’t get taken care of. I have been beyond patient with everything. The windows in my house won’t open. Fire hazard!!! I have been waiting for the new Windows to get installed for over a year. They are just sitting on the side of my house. Horrible! My husband and I rented a townhouse from them in Apex and it was the worst experience ever. Cheap Cheap Cheap to start with vendors and "fixes". We have now been out since October 20th and we still do not have our security deposit back. Complete lack of communication with the listing agent.

Words cannot adequately describe how disappointed and frustrated we are with Block and Associates. There was a complete lack of communication, and they expect and count on their tenants to bend over for them which is not reciprocated in any manner. Rather, it's a one way relationship. I'm an out-of-state real estate investor, so I really needed a property manager that I could count on. I thought that I would get better attention with a smaller property management firm, but that didn't work. I found Block about 10 years ago. I would prefer a single point of contact, but it never takes too long to get what you need.

Be careful with renting a property from this Realty Company. The move-in and move-out inspections are of a completely different nature. Luckily I took multiple pictures of my own to show the numerous cosmetic deficiencies in the house. However, there is no way to protect yourself from all instances of normal wear and tear. ANOTHER update... since moving out, because of negligence on their end.... they have done everything possible not to give back a deposit. Roommate had a therapy dog that they are now saying they had no idea about, they took a picture during a walk through of the inside of my personal microwave that was moved in by me... and taken away by me and said we didnt clean the house and therefore shouldn't get the deposit back. We have a rental property. Working with Block and Associates is a nightmare. Whenever there is an issue the agents don't bother to call. They simply send you an email. Shouldn't the agents follow up with a call? It's been a week since we spoke to the agent and asked them to send a contractor over to our property to give us an estimate and take care of the issues but they have not sent anyone. Took forever to get ahold of, had two scheduled FaceTime walk throughs (moving from NY) first one Amy never even called to cancel, we sat by the phone and waited, second time called and canceled 30 minutes before after my husband already took time off work to be there for the call. My Mother bought a house from a seller represented by Josh F. After the sale we discovered numerous contractual items that were supposedly done but were not. After months of trying to raise this with the seller and with Josh we're left with total radio silence form the seller and Josh and are left with no recourse other than a legal suit. The lack of responsiveness, professionalism, and basic decency will cost all parties more than would have been necessary...it's a lesson I hope others learn by avoiding doing business with this firm.

We listed our house for rent and the agent we had was USELESS. In fact, she was so lazy and unaccommodating that I rented the house to the interested party by myself!
I was told that since I secured the renter, I would get some sort of credit for it - never saw any discount/credit to our account.
We mentioned being displeased to our lousy agent, I'll never forget, her exact words were "simmer down". She laughed about that phrase, we didn't.

The agent we contacted was slow to respond at first, which I was okay with because I know it is a busy season. But she showed almost 0 interest in working with us.
