I have two HVAC units in my home and one had been mis-behaving. After suffering with temps over 80° in my bedroom, I turn to yelp. I found Vartan and Pacwest air conditioning and took a chance without a personal recommendation. Vartan was very responsive and was able to diagnose the problem and install a new HVAC only a day later. Well, I of course can't be happy about having to replace replace the HVAC, but that's not his fault... It's old and it's time had come. He did offer another solution but I felt confident with my purchase of a new HVAC as the best choice. Vartan

Vartan fixed my elderly parents condo ac unit for a reasonable cost where other companies proposed replacing the entire system. I dealt with him remotely via phone/text and found him to be extremely courteous, accommodating, responsive and professional. Rare qualities these days. I really appreciated the level of attention and responsiveness he exhibited in repairing the unit. I'm glad I found them. Highly recommended.

So my AC stopped working yesterday and I went into panic mode. I contacted Pac-West and they came out this morning just in time for the 90+ degree weekend. They fixed the condenser and even upgraded my thermostat! I can't thank them enough. Fast, friendly, quality service. They have a client for life!

Pac-West repaired my AC on 9/7/20 and replaced the capacitor on the condenser. However, 9 months later, the AC stopped working again due to the same issue. I hired a different AC technician this time (on 6/4/21) and they said that the capacitor that was replaced 9 months ago was the wrong size and failed early due to this.
While Pac-West did repair the AC temporarily, they used the incorrectly sized part which caused it to fail early and be replaced again in 9 months.

Prompt, clean, efficient, and clearly not out to "get" you.
Did some maintenance on our older (8 years) roof Payne unit (simple single family) and didn't try to upsell anything.
Also hosed down our solar panels free of charge and wouldn't take my tip.
Especially if you are anywhere in the Northeast area, just call them.

I contacted several contractors for bids. Pac Wests bid was not the lowest one, but it was in a good range, they offer pretty competitive pricing. I wasn't looking for the lowest bid; I took the bid that was in a middle. They ordered the parts and came and installed the whole HVAC unit real quick. They did a quality job. I am happy with the results.

Vardan was amazing and saved my family (including my 14 month old and two elderly parents) from freezing in the frigid SoCal weather. I was lucky that his morning appointment had cancelled so I called at 7am and he came in at 9am. I have an older home with no access to the roof where my HVAC unit is, so at first we didn't think he'd be able to do anything from a safety perspective since he couldn't access it with anything more than a 20+ foot portable ladder. I thought it was a lost cause until he came back a few hours later with a rented ladder and bigger crew to help him. It seems

Our AC broke on Monday August 3. I called Vardan at 7:00am on Tuesday August 4 to replace our HVAC unit and they stopped by 2:00pm the same day. Vardan and his partner Romik replaced the entire unit today August 5. They were extremely professional and caring.

We needed an AC unit downstairs and Vartan was able to come the next day and give us a fair and accurate estimate. He was able to get us a great unit with a long warranty. He and his team performed the work the next few days and got our living room ice cold. The unit was installed very professionally with no exposed wires or anything.
