North Air

The first time we turned on our heater this winter, it wasn’t blowing any warm air. We called another company, they came out and told us that our system was “dead” and would have to be replaced for $10K. I called North Air for a second opinion and I’m very glad I did. Turned out that our system was not dead we didn’t need the 5 parts that the other company had replaced trying to find the problem. Our problem was in fact VERY simple. A spider web was clogging a gas line. North Air saved me $10k that I would have spent on a new system.

We woke up to a house smelling like smoke. We couldn't find a fire but figured it was an electrical problem somewhere and called North Air that morning. Vigen came the same morning and immediately found the problem. He fixed it temporarily so we would be safe, then came the next morning with the right supplies to completely fix it.

Vigen is very knowledgeable, personable and super nice. He always kept me in the loop on what he was doing and gave us the price up front. I couldn't recommend North Air more!

Vigen answered my call and came to my house to look over my problem. The Air Conditioner worked fine but was no longer getting rid of the water in the system. Vigen saw the solution very quickly and a few days later he came with the parts and installed a new pump to get rid of the excess water. Now everything is working fine and I hope that I will be comfortable in the hot summers to come.

Vigen and his team installed 2 brand new Trane HVAC systems. He helped us picked the units and they did a wonderful job! Vigen is responsive, easy to work with, and really knows what he's doing. We would highly recommend him! This summer is going to be the second summer since our new HVAC systems. The new units work great, we have had no issues and they've kept us comfortable at home.

Our central A/C was getting old and not cooling the house efficiently. Our neighbors recommended North Air, we're so glad they did! The replaces our old A/C with a newer, better Trane A/C and heat. They were on time, friendly and professional, and they did the job for the amount they'd quoted us. Vigen and his team are terrific!

I had been using this company for all of my AC/Heating needs but suspecte they were a bit expensive. Then my small wall unit in my office broke and they told me it would be 3,000 to fix. That's more than my ENTIRE office/shed cost to build! Another company came out and fixed it for 400!!!!! Needless to say, I discontinued my scheduled maintenance with North Air!

Update: They responded that the 3,000 was not cost to fix but to install a new system. They told me my "cheap" unit was not fixable. I had to install a new 3,000 unit. Crazy that another licensed company came out and FIXED

So I have been meaning to write a review for many years. We've been using Vigen for all our HVAC needs and he's fast, reliable and knows his stuff. He rebuilt the original system that wasn't installed well when we first renovated. Redid ducting and properly attached A/C unit to roof so it would stop its horrible vibrating. Insulated furnace. He properly vented our attic. Then he installed a mini split unit in our guest house. Works great. He also maintains our units. Couldn't recommend more!

Our furnace had gone out, failing to ignite. Once I figured out it was nothing as simple as a blown igniter, I started calling around. Vigen picked up the phone himself and was able to arrive in just two hours. He quickly diagnosed a failed circuit board, made some calls, and was able to locate a new old stock original. He arrived first thing the next morning to finish the job.

I had asked if it might be better just to replace the 25+ year-old system, giving him ample opportunity for an up-sell. But he said it was better to go ahead and repair; it still

I could not recommend North Air enough! After realizing that our A/C was not working, North Air was the first company (out of a few that we called) that was able to come the same day. They were on time and assessed and resolved the situation quickly. My boyfriend and I greatly appreciated it, considering we still have 80 degree days in our SoCal winters.

In addition to repairing my A/C, they checked and serviced my heater to make sure it works properly when the random cold days show up.

My air conditioner was leaking. I called North Air and Vigen showed up within a half hour to fix it. I just moved to Burbank so this was my first time using North Air. You never know what you're going to get but the reviews I saw on Yelp and Google were accurate. Vigen is a very friendly, straightforward guy who tries to find solutions that are both efficient and cost-effective. He also replaced my air intake vent (which was a pain to open and change the filter) with a new easy-to-open vent with a hinge - see attached photo (marks on ceiling made by me, not him!). Once again, Yelp has not let me down! I was having an issue with my 20 year old HVAC system and called North Air to have it checked out. Vigen gave me an appointment window between 2:30 pm and 4:30 p.m. because he was working on another job but he ended up calling me back and asked if he could arrive earlier (certainly not a problem at all for me). After he assessed the problem he presented me with a couple different options on how to correct the issue.
