For over 40 years, B'nai Simcha Jewish Community Preschool has been offering a warm and nurturing preschool experience in a Jewish environment. B'nai Simcha is the only Jewish preschool in the West San Gabriel Valley. We provide morning preschool and afternoon extended care to 55 children ages 2-6.
Our students come from all over the San Gabriel Valley and from a variety of ethnic and religious backgrounds. Our goal is to present a program in which developing a strong Jewish identity is a natural and enjoyable process. Our school is often the first step for many unaffiliated families in the area wishing to participate in the Jewish community.

Services
B'nai Simcha is a developmental preschool. We encourage children to explore the world while developing gross and fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, language skills, and a strong sense of self esteem. We want to help children learn that they are capable of working independently, that there are appropriate times and ways to ask for help, and that they can successfully work in group situations while still getting their individual needs met.
One of the earliest values that can be found in Jewish tradition comes from Genesis 1:27. As God created humanity we read, "So God created human beings in His image (in Hebrew, the masculine form is used when the being is unknown), in God's image God created them."
This idea of being created in God's image, b'tzelem Elohim, is a driving principle at B'nai Simcha, where we understand that not only are our diverse families meant to be celebrated and respected, but that our larger community is a wonderful melting pot where our differences are embraced.

Tours are offered in person for fully vaccinated individuals and virtually for those unvaccinated. Tours are typically held Tuesday and Thursdays at 10am, by appointment only. New Students: We begin our admission process in February for the upcoming Summer and Fall programs. Returning students and siblings get priority, and then we fill in the remaining spots on a first-come basis, taking into account the ages and days we have openings.
B'nai Simcha graciously recognizes these donors for their extreme generosity. Thanks to their donations, B'nai Simcha was able to overcome the most difficult challenges as a result of the pandemic. We are forever grateful! Annual giving is one of the most important initiatives in any school's or non-profit's fundraising efforts.
