Bagnell & Son Funeral Home
Our Mission is to serve our neighbors with dignity and compassion at their time of great need in comfortable surroundings; to accommodate any special request that may add meaning or comfort to the funeral service and the families we serve, and to treat all who enter our doors with the professionalism our neighbors have come to expect from Bagnell & Son Funeral Home.

My family opened Bagnell & Son Funeral Home in May of 2002 with the idea of providing an alternative to the high cost of funeral services. I feel it is important that a neighbor, not an out of town corporation, be entrusted with the care of our loved ones. The losses in life are difficult and not knowing your funeral director can add stress to a difficult situation.
Services
The caring and experienced professionals at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home are here to support you through this difficult time. We offer a range of personalized services to suit your family's wishes and requirements. You can count on us to help you plan a personal, lasting tribute to your loved one, and we'll carefully guide you through the many decisions that must be made during this challenging time.
At Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).

I went to Bagnell on January 4 to have my husband cremated. The agent in charge at the time, Kevin, was corrected twice about his mistakes on the form for the death certificates. Nevertheless, on January 29th the death certificates came back with the wrong information. I immediately return them to the funeral home. LeAnn at this point has taken over “my case”. She said she would handle it immediately; however, she did not. She sat on them for almost 2 weeks before the amended paperwork was turned over to the state. I know this because I began to call the Office of Vital Records. After not hearing

Bagnell & Son Funeral Home was absolutely perfect in every manner when handling the services of our beloved Grams. A simple and affordable service was what we needed, and they came through. Every detail, every bit of thoughtfulness...it is not easy to deal with the loss of a loved one, even if you were prepared, but Bagnell & Son was a blessing for their kindness and compassion, and ability to take the pressure off of the family so that we could mourn properly.

I want to thank Bagnell and Son for handling my uncle’s funeral with such compassion and care. He was my Paran. It was an extremely difficult time for my family but they made it easier. My uncle had prearrangements in place, thankfully. The same woman who handled his prearrangements was also his funeral director. I think that made a big difference because she actually knew him when he was alive. Thank you, LeAnne, for all that you do. You are a blessing to the families you help. We will definitely use this funeral home again. We felt like we were part of their family.
