At Serenity Funeral Home, we offer several services to the community of Covington, La area. At our funeral home, we explain the options available, allowing families to make their own personal decisions. At Serenity Funeral Home, we understand a family's need to create a service that is as unique as the person who passed away; A Celebration of their Life.
It's often seen as easier not to have a memorial service or funeral, and it's certainly seen as a less expensive alternative. But we're here to say this: an easy, cheaper path is not always better one. Grief experts all agree: a ceremony is an important part of the healing process.

We recently had services performed by Serenity Funeral Home and were extremely satisfied. Jack was very compassionate and was able to help us find the options that allowed us to honorably put to rest our family member on a limited budget. The chapel was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were super helpful and respectful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience considering the circumstances.

I wish that I could give Lenny and his team more than 5 stars because they deserve a million. My daughter, Angela Molden, was murdered and had severe damage to her face so I was told by many people that saw the damage that an open casket would definitely NOT be an option. I agreed with those people but my 3 other children were adamant about having an open casket service so they could have the closure that they desperately needed. Against my better judgment I had an open casket service and I must say that I'm grateful we did because Angela looked like an angel. My daughters said her sister looked

I can't speak highly enough about the services we received from the staff at Serenity. From the initial call with Jack down to completing the final details with Crystal, everyone on staff is amazing. Mr. Leonard is extremely nice and comforting and so is Ms. Dina at the desk. They made a very painful experience go smoothly and with minimal stress. My mom had a couple of emotional outbursts with the staff and they remained professional and still went out of their way to help us in every way they could. We live in New Orleans and took a 50 min drive to Covington so that we could use this company

As if the shock of losing someone weren't hard enough, planning and arranging the funeral is even more complex. Serenity Funeral Home made it seem less excruciating. They were calm, compassionate, and patient when we were all angry and sad about our loss. They went above and beyond the call of duty, working after hours to make the entire event less stressful. I am forever grateful for their help and understanding, and I am certain that other larger funeral homes do not offer such a personal and private experience. I wouldn't recommend any other funeral home on the Northshore.

My family and I were taken by surprise when my brother suddenly passed away. We were so devastated, as any family would be with the loss of a loved one. My parents are elderly and on a fixed income and my sister and I are single moms. We knew my brother wanted to be cremated but did not have the money to pay what other places were charging. I called every funeral home and funeral place that we googled in St. Tammany Parish. While we wanted something inexpensive, I surely wasn't leaving my brother to be cremated by some hole in the wall place that is out there. I called Serenity Funeral Home and
