Anger is a normal emotion to the everyday frustrations we may experience in the world. It's natural to become angry when we have a goal and it is blocked in some way. Anger isn't just one emotion, but a family of emotions that are related to each other both in our brains and in our behavior. People often give a variety of names to their angry feelings, which range from mild irritation to rage.

Prior to Cathryn I had been seeing a therapist who was just not a good fit. After a while I finally decided to look for a new therapist and I'm happy to have found her! I felt comfortable right away and the more we talked the more I felt I could trust her expertise. She's empathetic, understanding and honest. Her approach was the right fit for me and I look forward to continue working with her.

I contacted her about setting up a appointment for my brother and his family who were experiencing a significant hardship and she was very judgmental about why my brother did not contact her himself to set up the appointment. I contacted a few other therapists who unfortunately were not taking clients and they never once had a judgmental tone or questioned why I was making the appointment. They were very supportive and even helped refer me to other therapists. I explained to her that there are times when people undergo traumatic events and need the assistance of others to help them start the process
