Peter Agnew is a Pastoral Counselor specializing in individual and couples counseling and is a Certified Elite Life Coach. He maintains a private practice in Long Beach, California. The father of two amazing adult children, he currently enjoys the challenge of keeping a balance between work and his children.
I am a very solution and hope focused pastoral counselor that, along with your hard work, will begin to restore hope to your situation with the very first session. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients individual needs to help attain the personal growth they're striving for.
Over the past 12 years I have had the opportunity to create and deliver several different seminars and topics. Whether it is a preaching opportunity, a seminar for pre-marital or married couples, several weeks of adult Sunday School offerings or teaching at the Teen Challenge Ministry Institute in South Gate, Ca, I am available to facilitate a weekend retreat, be a guest speaker for a class or teach 30 hours in a formal setting.
A lot of people ask, "How do I get the most out of my counseling experience?" There are several things that I would suggest that you do regardless of who you go to. Near the Sheep Gate in Jerusalem there was a pool, in Hebrew called Bethesda, with five alcoves. Hundreds of sick people-blind, crippled, paralyzed-were in these alcoves.

My husband and I received counseling with Peter before becoming engaged. After becoming engaged we KNEW we must see Peter for premarital support. With his help, we ended up feeling so encouraged and ready to run down the aisle. We even had him officiate our wedding. Peter is so kindhearted and easy to talk with. He has a heartfelt desire to see marriages get off on the right foot and thrive. Peter and Restored Hope were recommended to us by some great friends that spoke so highly of his counseling, so my wife and I decided to jump in for pre-marital counseling. Very, very happy we did.
