The hotel stay was one of the worst experience that we have had in 30 years of travel. Hotel room was dirty. The balcony, which is why we rented there was filthy, Paint chips and the concrete was falling apart. There was cocktail straws, napkins and 2 pills of some sort on the ground. I talked to the front desk about getting the place cleaned up. I asked that the balcony be at least swept up. Got back to the room later in the day with no improvement. There was a sticky note on the floor that said to address the balcony. the sticky note was wadded up and thrown in the garbage can. They missed the

Very disappointed with our stay! They charged too much for what they offered to include the spa being closed. The only thing nice was the lobby. The walls are so thin you can hear every conversation clearly, toilets flush, and every intimate moment. The room we had was very dark and had one window that overlooked the stairs to the lobby. The elevator was slow and no one offers to help with bags. The tub was already clogged and the mini fridge and the A/C made a lot of noise. The first night the power constantly went off. The second night a drunk stranger knocked on our door at 4 am! Not sure what

I picked this hotel due to centralized location and the fact parking and breakfast was included. Parking was an additional charge. Food service was not available due to C19 when the entire state is open for normal business, and they waited till the 9th to email me and tell me this, cancellation date was the 8th. Wifi and parking are advertised as free on the hotels page on Expedia.com, they wanted 40 dollars extra per day for wifi and parking. I was charged for things I didn't receive and things that were appealing to me were not available. Shower was small and paint was pealing off the ceiling

Simply put - Do not stay here. Extremely expensive ($588/night) for small room in a run down hotel. Only redeeming value (1 star) - it's on Duval St.

The hotel rooms needs a facelift badly. Lobby looks remodeled, but the rooms are awful. Super cramped. Small bathrooms. For 2 people it was ridiculously small.

You can't control the AC - on full blast or off.

Shower had mold. There is no ventilation fan. We had to beg for replacement towels because without ventilation and without a place to hang the towels, they did not dry and smelled moldy.

Room lighting is so dim you can

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a health hazard. This is what $400+ dollars a night will get you. Not to mention, the walls are paper thin. You can hear everything. Use caution before booking here. It in filthy dirty and way overpriced. Location is great however, there are so many better choices in Key West.

I was EXTREMELY worried once I started reading all the horrible reviews . Panicking about switching hotels right before we left . We were very pleasantly surprised ! PLEASE read if you are worried about all the negative and horrible reviews . I will post pros and cons but please note we absolutely WOULD stay here again .

Pros :

gorgeous lobby nice and clean and open and airy. They also have a Starbucks and wine bar attached . The spa and restaurant aren't open but not that big of a deal .

Amazing location (which is why we picked it ) close to all the nightlife and not too far to walk

What could've been a bad time was saved by Michael at the front desk. Travel up messed up my booking and oversold the hotel and didn't tell anyone in advance. Michael was able to help us get rooms near the price that travel up had made us pay and definitely saved the weekend. He was nice during our stressful time- I wish I could say the same for the Russian girl that also worked at the front desk. She was unhelpful, rude, and lied about rooms still being available. Thank you Michael you rule

The place was great when you walked into the lobby but the front desk girl was not as helpful as she could have been. Then we went to the room and there was blood in the sheets. I called the front desk and they didn't help at all. They never came to change the sheets and we ended up leaving after waiting over 40 mins for them to come up. Now they are disputing the refund for the room...

My wife and I have stayed here many times in the last 15 years. We stay here also because is its part of IHG so I get to use my point here. This hotel has the best location on the island. Central to everything.

The great:

Location
The Concierge was very helpful in booking a sunset cruise

The Good:

Rooms are well appointed and a fair size. AC is much better!

What needs to be improved:

Ice, just purchase the ice machines that all hotels have that only dispense ice to one customer. They had problems in the past with people messing with the ice and now you have to get it from the front

All on site dinning and bars are closed. Hot tub and spa are closed. Bathroom is so tiny that it's not comfortable to navigate, and forget trying to get a second person in there. Room smells kinda musty. Bed is super firm and extremely creaky. Staff are nice and the hotel seems acceptably clean.

Stayed here for our honeymoon... it was appealing because of the location and the pool and hot tub, but we were let down. The location is right on Duval street, so we expected to hear the people, instead we heard construction all night long, and full conversations from our neighbor rooms.

The rooms are very small, nothing special. We called ahead of time and asked for something special for our honeymoon and they couldn't accommodate. When we checked in, the staff didn't even know it was our honeymoon....

The biggest let down was the hot tub, that was advertised on their website, as

The hotel is decent but there are some things to note that make staying at a nearby Marriott more appealing:

1. We got a double queen size room for the 3 of us and there's one tiny trashcan in the room. I understand housekeeping doesn't handle a room until it's turned over, but at other hotels I've stayed, they at least come in to change the trash bag each day. We stayed here 5 days and they never changed our tiny single trashcan a single time, nor came in to refill our coffee and toiletry stuff.

2. There's no restroom in the main lobby. We quipped it's because

What a great stay! Friendly staff! Lovely suite! COVID-19 was handled well. Trash put out by the door. Not many services open at the hotel but the front desk was super accommodating considering. Perfectly located. Can't wait to stay again!

This hotel is resting on its location and that's it. I've stayed in laquintas nicer than this.

This is not a 4 star hotel.

- The roon smelt like mildew and was just damp.
- the ceiling was falling down
- Our phone wasn't missing buttons.... not just one to two.
- Bathtub didn't drain even after getting out of the shower for about 15 minutes.
