I loved my experience here. Stayed in late October, and it was excellent. Room AC worked well, ran all night, so the white noise was nice. The room was cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is outstanding. An easy walk to some of the areas best sites. Bathroom had only a standing shower and was tiny but it was impeccably clean. The reception staff was friendly. The little bar at the end , the Tipsy Rooster was fun to visit. The sandwich shop across the street was good as well! I can't wait to come back. (Maybe *after* fantasyfest this time...)

We are only halfway through our stay! So far everything is nice except that the three swimming pools close at dusk! I'm sure that they have their reasons but we were disappointed not to have the option of relaxing and swimming in the evening. The location is great. In a quieter part of town a block off of Duvall Street. It is situated on a corner so sometimes the road traffic can get loud. All in all I would come back here again.

Good location, close to the southernmost point and that end of Duval. Secure parking, my boyfriend has an f250 and felt safe with it since he could see it and there weren’t any loiterers. Good atmosphere with friendly, laid-back vibe. Was nice being able to sit outside and chat with the neighbors. Cons include: very small shower, and bathroom did not have a vent so it got very muggy. Also, we weren’t able to change the a/c. It wasn’t terrible to the point that we had to complain, but they had an oscillating fan in the room so I’m assuming they know about it. Staff was super friendly. Overall

I can't even begin to tell you how much we loved this place! It was like being at home! The staff is amazing and friendly, I also personally watched them clean rooms so meticulously that I knew I could lay down and relax comfortably without a worry! Awesome on premises bar called "The Tipsy Rooster and liquor store. 3 pools, breakfast in the morning, barely a 5 minute walk to the beach and the Southernmost point. I could go on for days, I didn't want to leave! I will be telling all friends and family about this amazing place and will be returning asap! Thank you Southwinds for making my first time
