Robert Ferris began his life in real estate in 1964 when he sold a small dairy farm in LaGrange, New York, and he has since represented properties of every size and shape. When opening R. Ferris Real Estate on Route 55 in LaGrange in 1966 it was Bob's vision to bring a "down home" service to each client that walked through the doors of his office.
This vision allowed him to grow R. Ferris Real Estate into the successful business that it is today and it is still the driving force behind the company. Bob has a lifelong interest in farming - his family has farmed in Dutchess County since 1728, pictured left are his grandparents Amos and Mary Caroline Williams who had a farm on Beach Road in Beekman - an understanding of the land and a love for this area.
