Dr. Mark D. Rosenstein, DDS, PC offers a full array of dental services to help you maintain healthy teeth. Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root.

Zero stars. This office is incompetent. Three times I had my NYC dentist send them my dental x-rays. Three times they told me they received them but did not in fact save them because they waited too long to download and the link expired. The day before my appointment the assistant calls me and asks if I need to make an appointment. I told them my appointment is set for tomorrow and the assistant says oh I am sorry I meant to call your wife but I have your number input as her number. Then I ask whether they have my x-rays and the assistant says she does not think so but maybe they are in the chart

I highly recommend Dr. Mark Rosenstein. I’ve been his patient for 3 ½ years and have been nothing but satisfied with his work and demeanor. I have been going through some extensive reconstructive work. Dr. Rosenstein has used all of this experience (and then some) to navigate this very tricky work and has found an answer for every roadblock we have encountered. I just had a much delayed checkup with the Mark Rosenstein . His office is clean, professional and equipment and protocols are in place to make sure everything is as safe as possible. I've been going here for over two years and by far this has been the best dentist experience in my 50 years - which is saying a lot given the extra steps needed because of Covid. I don't feel like I'm part of a factory or that the dentist is going through the motions. He does the cleanings, x-rays, etc. himself.

I can't say enough about Dr. Rosenstein. After years of being with a dentist with whom I was not satisfied, Dr. Rosenstein was recommended to me, and it has made a world of difference.
He listens to patients' needs and takes his time, making one feel at ease. In addition, the staff is polite and helpful.

Dr. Rosenstein has been my dentist for 21 years. I'm 61, and have had plenty of experience with other dentists in NYC, Brooklyn, & Westchester. I'm mostly in NYC now, but I continue to see him in Larchmont because he's excellent. I've recommended a 1/2 dozen people to him over the years. I find him to be conservative and judicious with what he recommends, never pushing any procedure, and giving me a time line during which something might need to be done, if at all. This is important to me, because he's discouraged my spending money any number of times over procedures

I recently found Dr. Rosenstein after switching from a dentist who I felt was not as interested in the profession, with 1 foot in retirement.
With Dr. Rosenstein, I never have to wait for my appointment. One of my favorite things about this dentist is that he does the cleaning himself, not a dental hygienist. Not only does he do a better job cleaning than any dental hygienist I have ever had, he is looking for abnormalities, cracks and other issues that a cursory inspection may not always reveal.
When I needed a crown, he recommended an excellent Endodentist.

Buyer beware. Dr. Rosenstein and his assistant Melissa engage in unethical billing practices. They know beforehand that your insurance will only partially cover restorative services and will charge the difference. The result for me is a $480 bill and the blame put on me for expecting a honest and forthcoming dentist who doesn't enjoy blindsiding his insured customers with surprise bills. Please stay away. There are plenty of great dentists who uphold ethical standards and still believe in exemplary customer service.
