Mercerville Animal hospital has been operated by the Carter family since 1957, his father Dr Carter Senior started the practice. Mercerville Animal Hospital is family owned and operated and we hope our clinic experience a place that they feel part of the family. We truly want the best for our patients and love what we do. I highly recommend Mercerville Animal Hospital! We have been coming here for about 4 years now. We unfortunately had to put our elderly cat down a month ago and every single person working there has been amazing. We ended up adopting two of their cats recently and they have been so helpful with their care! I have had a lot of questions and everyone there has helped so much! Dr. Stevens is also a great vet! She takes such great care of the animals. We will always come here! Thank you so much!

The staff and doctors are always friendly kind compassionate and caring. They have convenient hours and always answer the phone promptly so that they can help you and your furry loved ones. The doctors are very professional and take the time to properly examine your pets. I’ve been going there for a few years now with all three of my cats and I have always had a positive experience every time.

I, too was recommended to this veterinarian (Dr. Carter, Sr. (and his wife Michelle R.I.P) ) by a dear friend many years ago (25+) because of my dissatisfaction with another doctor in the township I was living. They will always exceed your expectations; from the doctors to the staff. You’re treated like family the minute you walk through the door. The atmosphere is filled with kindness, compassion, professionalism and knowledge. I've been going to Mercerville Animal Hospital for about 3 years now. My last cat was diagnosed with lymphoma and kidney disease and had a few same day appointments that needed to be made. They were very accommodating and I never had a problem getting my cat seen the same day. From the day of the diagnosis to the day I had to put Bucky down they were absolutely wonderful and the care from Dr. Stewart and Dr. Stevens was top notch. Even when I made a regular appointment the wait times were not that long at all. I think the most I waited was 15 minutes. Don't hesitate to take your pets here.

I highly recommend Mercerville animal hospital. The Vets are extremely accommodating, helpful and talented. The vet techs and front desk workers are beyond kind and professional. My dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I have been calling them almost everyday with questions and concerns and they always find the time to give me the best information possible or for me in for an appointment right away even when they are very busy. They never make me feel as though I am an inconvenience even though I’m sure I am. Everyone that works there goes above and beyond for you and your pets.
