Your look is part of your story. Orchestrated by CEO Heidi Bea White, the Vanity Salon team is dedicated to mastery of their skill sets and offer the best in cut, color, and specialty hair services. Vanity Hair Studio was established in February of 2008. Since Heidi White opened the doors, the salon has been booming with happy clients and has earned a great business reputation.
Heidi has expanded the salon two times, and it now occupies the 1200 square foot studio she independently owns and operates. Because of her easy going personality and love of good energy, she and her amazing team have turned the studio into a huge success, and it was even nationally chosen by Elle Magazine as top 100 salons in the US two years in a row.

This salon texted me on the morning of my wedding day to cancel my updo because the stylist was sick. I am fully sympathetic to being cautious, however they did not try to reschedule or find another stylist for me, they simply said "your appointment has been canceled". I was unable to find another stylist in town same day to do my hair for my wedding. It was disastrous for such a big day.

I had Vanity Hair Studio do the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and I for my July 2021 wedding and they did an amazing job!! They were so sweet and extremely time efficient and even had mimosas for us when we got there. Heidi did my hair and it looked absolutely beautiful, I got so many compliments! Would highly recommend Vanity Hair Studio for your wedding day!

My review is longgg overdue! Brides getting married in Portsmouth, look no further- Vanity Hair is the best!!! I had an huge group of 14 bridesmaids, plus moms and a flower girl. Vanity made sure we were ahead of schedule and done on time. They were willing to start early in then morning which was very appreciated. My girls all looked like movie stars!!
For my bridal hair look I wanted big curls and the "old Hollywood" look that is super in right now for brides. Heidi delivered above and beyond!!! My hair lasted all night even for the after party. :) I would highly recommend any bride get a trial

Great salon! Everyone there is professional, friendly and very sweet. They will take the time to figure what is best for your hair. Jess and Alexis have done my hair many times--they are professionals. ANd you can have a vino while you wait...:)

I ventured out today to Vanity Hair Studio to get my hair cut for the first time in a year and a half. This was the best decision I've made during quarantine. Not only is Vanity clean and stunning they also offered refreshments and had a lovely outdoor patio to sit while you wait for the hairdresser to become available (I arrived a little early). I had the pleasure of having Alexis do my hair today and she was kind and wonderful. I have had quite a few bad experiences in the past (thus waiting a year and a half to get my hair done) and she did an amazing job. I definitely will be back to see her

Vanity was great at accommodating me as a first time customer for an appointment on a Saturday. I loved the text message confirmation and appointment reminders. Heidi was fantastic at managing the salon and friendly when doing my blow-out. She is knowledgeable about thick hair and it was a great start to my day. I would recommend Vanity!

Love love love this place. The staff is very welcoming and Leigha did a great job fixing my hair. The salon is very professional and clean. All the products they use are organic and are better for your hair unlike other salons. ~Also UNH students get a 20% discount woohoo!! They do a lot of promotional stuff, check out their Instagram! @vanity.hairstudio.nh

I’ve been coming to Vanity for many years. I’m so happy with my color, cuts and the salon experience. I’ve become close to all of the staff and would recommend all of them for all of the above. I also treat myself to blowouts and waxing services and get lots of compliments. They are talented and they listen.
