Jim Humphrey was a first generation funeral director, that founded the funeral home that bears his name. Jim was a funeral director for over 40 years. He served many families over his career before passing the "torch" to his son James.
As a member of the community, he always felt that it was his responsibility to help families through the most difficult time in their life and not influence them towards a choice with which they are not comfortable.Now that same philosophy continues today with the leadership of his son who continues operate the family business.

I would like anyone that reads this review to know the Humphrey Funeral Home is a family funeral home that treats you like family. We are committed to you and your family and we take that commitment personally. We go above and beyond our services, we are active in the community and we genuinely care for you and our community. I have personally sat down with widows and widowers for well over an hour, listening to their stories and when I sit there with them, words can't describe how I feel. These stories are funny and sad, but I listen, I care, I try to provide comfort beyond all else. I understand
