In 1954, John & Gloria Dutcavich returned to the Coal Region to operate the former Tuson Funeral Home after the death of its owner, Bill Tuson. Like many funeral directors in the Coal Region, John persevered through leaner years by working other jobs, supplementing his income to support his family of six children.
