Tae Kwon Do was originated in Korea and was introduced to the west in the late 1950's. It is the most popular of the martial arts practiced in America due largely to its high flying kicks. Because not everyone has the flexibility and strength to perform such gymnastic-type movements, USA Karate has blended other systems together to provide a comprehensive program of self-defense.
The word Karate means "empty hand" and usually this is preceded with the symbol for '-do' which means "The way of the empty hand." This means that those who practice karate live by it as a way of life. Karate challenges you to always strive to better yourself and turn away from unnecessary altercations when possible.
Judo is an Olympic sport that is described as a form of Japanese wrestling with throws, pins, chokes, and arm-locks forming the core techniques. Practicing judo is a fantastic way for an individual to stay in good shape, as well as a realistic and practical form of self-defense. Judo is also the second most commonly played sport in the world and is known to raise self-esteem and build self-confidence.
Japanese jujitsu systems typically emphasize more on throwing, pinning, and joint-locking techniques as compared with martial arts such as karate, which rely more on striking techniques. Striking techniques were seen as less important in older Japanese systems because of the protection of samurai body armor and were used as set-ups for their grappling techniques.
Boxing has been around for quite a long time, probably around 4000 years in fact. It wasn't a recognized sport until about 700 BC and due to the violent nature of the sport, faced some strife to get where it has today. Western Boxing was still considered a brutal sport during the early 20th century and because of that was outlawed in many countries.

Great after school program. My kids have been coming here for about 3 years now and they still love it. They pick them up from school before the car rider line starts. They provide snacks and time to do their homework. They have class every day and can do sparring once they advance in class. They have belt promotions and tournaments. The instructors are the same ones from the day they started. The staff are all friendly and so nice to the kids. The summer program is awesome too! They have class every day and sparring like the regular year. They do field trips and lots of active games every week
