A C Howard Law
We prepare wills, trusts, advance directives, and powers of attorney to provide peace of mind and help secure your family's future. We craft fair resolutions in matters of divorce, child custody and visitation, and spousal and child support. We assist individuals and couples with growing their family by developing contracts and filing court documents regarding surrogacy, egg, embryo, and sperm donation.

We also work with surrogates and donors to ensure that their interests are represented. We handle legal matters related to independent and agency adoptions, as well as handling judgments of parentage.

ACAL Membership in the Academy of California Adoption and ART-Lawyers is a significant feather in Anna's cap. Nothing is more gratifying than helping clients become parents after they have faced considerable obstacles. A. C. Howard Law is sensitive to the needs of vulnerable clients who, individually, or with a partner, are eager to build their own family and must enlist the help of others to do so.

We understand the emotional toll that the journey through surrogacy or assisted reproduction can exact, and we are committed to helping reduce the stress and strain associated with the process. If your doctor has recommended assisted reproduction, A. C. Howard Law can help you understand the legal details of sperm donation, egg donation, embryo donation, and surrogacy.
Writing a will or trust, also known as estate planning, helps ensure that your wishes are respected and your family is taken care of in the event that you are incapacitated by illness, or after your death. Proper estate planning can avoid probate delays so that your estate is distributed more quickly to your beneficiaries.
If your path to parenthood involves adoption, A. C. Howard Law will help you understand the different types of adoption and discuss with you the merits of each approach. In an agency (aka foster or county) adoption, the birth parents' rights are terminated by a court order or a filing of voluntary relinquishment.
Family law is the umbrella term used to describe any legal cases heard in the civil court that concern family matters, domestic relations, marriage, civil unions, domestic partnerships, separation, divorce, restraining orders, adoption, surrogacy, child abuse, and even child abduction. However, most non-lawyers use the term family law to mean divorce, custody, and spousal or child support.

I contacted AC Howard Law and was given a "phone appointment". The time for the appointment came and went and she never called. I was never given any explanation as to why I was ignored.

As someone who works with many legal professionals, I can tell you first hand that Anna is passionate about and committed to her clients and her work. She has a strong background in surrogacy, estate planning, probate and divorce. I have no problem recommending my clients and fellow professionals her way as I know they will be well taken care of.

I consulted with her regarding my mother's revocable living trust and pour-over will.
She responded in a more than timely manner.
I would hire her.
