We accidentally booked a room at this hotel for a wrong date and as soon as we hit the reservation button, we realized it was a wrong date and cancelled the booking. We contacted the hotel and asked for a refund since it was withing few seconds! They said they are happy to give us the refund but since we booked it through booking.com they would have to initiate the refund. I called booking.com and explained the situation. They said they would request the hotel for a refund and they don't have any problem with that. But now the hotel said they will not give us the refund due to their cancelation

Key West accommodation can get quite pricey, so as a solo traveler, this hostel worked out well for me. It's a very convenient location, close to both close to Duval Street and the pier.
The room and premises were clean and seem well maintained.
Breakfast is included and there's a Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby for guests. They serve some other drinks and alcohol there as well but no other food.
Staff is quite accommodating. Like a lot of people, my bus back to Miami was only later in the evening but they agreed to store the bag even after check out and allowed me to use the shower when

I would go again. its not your cookie cutter hotel if you're one person you can share a room. our room had 4 beds two bunks. There was 4 in our group. The only thing the room needed is a chair or bench. Reasonable walk to Duval Street.

Surprised that this place isn't higher rated. We stayed with a group In a few different rooms and we found the place to be excellent! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were very soft... We really had no issues. The hot tub is decent although it could use a few more jets but what can you do. There's another smaller hot tub next to it and then there are two pools, one is semi-heated. The place is 10 minutes away from Duval Street so it was a quick and painless walk. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay... would definitely come back again!

Propert was cute. Great idea if traveling alone or with a few friends. We booked the owners suite. Not enough towel, no daily house keeping. Had to call the desk several times for extra towels and such. There is no seating other than 2 uncomfortable chairs and a tiny end table in the main area of the suite. Mind you the room sleeps 6 to 7 adults. We were there for 5 days/4 nights. And for a touristy town and a property catering to adults only you would think the pool and hot tub would be open later! The property is cute though and the suite had a cute porch with chairs to relax after a long day

NYAH = Not Your Average Hotel

The name does it justice and does spell everything bluntly for you.

It is located very close to the bars, clubs, shops and northern marina. It is about a 10 minute walk from all the action, which is one of the reasons I booked this hotel. Another reason for me picking this place was because I searched for a hotel with "parking". It was my first time in key west so I didn't know what to expect. I learned that their "parking" was for any marked spot in the street that didn't have a "resident" reserve sign painted onto the ground

The hotel itself is pretty cool. I would probably stay again. However our room could use more counter space in the bathroom. They have room for it. If they had hangers for the lockers would be a game changer. There is an empty closet in the bathroom that could use some shelves. When you have bunk beds with 4 people that empty closet could help with space. The only reason they are getting a 2 star is due to service. Checking in the front desk lady was more interested in eating her sandwich Than helping. We had a issue with the room and I waited by the front desk as 3 different people walked by and

Make sure to use Êœá´á´›á´‡ÊŸÊ™á´œÊŸÊŸÊ. á´„á´á´ when booking a hotel. This web site will compare thousands of booking web sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the most well known in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you won't regret it.
Best time ever. Took a solo trip and met new people every night, my roomies were amazing. So close to everything!! I can’t wait to come back

Think Youth Hostile when staying here. They have shared rooms and semi-private rooms. The pools are nice. Wish it were clothing optional or at least had a clothing optional deck. This would be easy for them to do with as many deck levels available.
There were a good mix of people. Breakfast is included. Staff friendly and helpful.
Bring your flip flops the red brick around the pools gets very hot 🔥.
Our room had a dorm size refrigerator but no table or chairs in the room. Lockers are provided. A chair or two in the room would have been appreciated. As would a luggage stand on table.

Am writing this review after one night's stay.

The reception was very welcoming. Mr. Anthony took excellent care of a little snafu between Booking.com and the hotel.

The room 214 turns out to be a private room with 4 bunk beds, squeaky clean, quiet, plenty of storage space, the AC is cold, and the water in the shower is hot. Amenities and wonderful towels. The bed is very comfortable and has clean and nice quality linens.

The ambience at the pool is delightful: pleasant music, beautiful lighting, and wonderful architecture.

The staff is very pleasant, professional, and helpful.

I moved from Seashell hostel to NYAH two days into my trip to KW, and I was happy I did. The female dorm had four beds and a couch, with nice key card operated lockers. They provide bathroom towels and pool towels, and keep you stocked with shampoo and conditioner and soap. They serviced the room daily, which was necessary. The bed was very comfortable, but I got a top bunk and I found it difficult to climb up the way the ladder was attached. It would be difficult if you have any mobility issues (or get drunk lol). Bathrooms were clean despite being shared with the four people in the room and

I am watching the storm track and call July 4 to cancel. Took about 6 calls to get a live person to confirm. NYAH live person says I am within cancellation window and they cannot cancel. Me: "there is a hurricane, you know?" NYAH:"there is no evacuation order for Key West" Me: "I am not in Key West, common sense and Fla Hwy Patrol says I should not drive into the Keys in a hurricane" NYAH

Definitely "Not Your Average Hotel." This might be the worst hotel ever. Let me list all of the things that were wrong with the room I stayed in.

1.) Huge unbalanced bump in the floor (Looks like they're trying to make this hotel a cash cow and are building things completely wrong) Sadly I couldn't get a picture of this
2.) Sink won't shut all the way
3.) My personal favorite: When you shower, you will be welcomed by a lovely puddle when you walk out
4.) The shower is gross
5.) Cracks in the wall
6.) The mirror...I will leave pictures
7.) The doors to the balcony

I stayed here during a bachelorette party in June. This is hotel claims to be "not your average hotel". Well they are right, it is well BELOW AVERAGE!!! First our room was in the hotel lobby! Yep, you read that right. You walk in the front door and our room was right next to it. As we entered the room, we noticed there was no ac and it was extremely humid. There were 3 fans set up in the room and running so the hotel obviously knew that the ac didn't work. Upon complaining to the front desk, they "fixed" it and said it would cool down. We were heading out at that time so

DO NOT STAY HERE EVER!!
FALSE ADVERTISING!
You think your getting a room that is advertised online but than you don't even get any room. Needed a place stay and I booked the hotel for 3 people including my son but when we showed up later in the day they refused to give us the room stating kids are not allowed when clearly while charging the amount at the front desk saw my son standing right next to me. When I asked why they didn't say anything while I was swiping my card with my son standing next to me there was no answer. They are bunch of

First trip to Key West!

Price - Weekday rates in May were about $500 including fees and over $1000 per night in weekends. Our room was around 200 square feet if that, included a Murphy bed, 2 sinks and a shower (very low water pressure), that's it. A little pricy for the accommodations.

Amenities - Property came with 2 pools, one was heated. They offered cocktails from the registration desk for a fee and had a Starbucks coffee maker in the lobby which was nice in the morning. They also offered bike rentals for a reasonable fee.

The modest accommodations made it difficult to justify the

This property stole my things, left my locker locked, the hotel broke in, went through all my things, left what they did not take or "throw away" and left my locker "organized" and unlocked when they left. I had paid for 2 nights. I asked to leave and not stay after the violation. The entire staff acknowledged the situation was terrible. They gave my money for the night I did not stay and called it a 50% refund. For the night that I wasn't there. Never stay here if you value privacy or your things.
I would give zero stars if I could.

Check In staff member Anthony is wonderful! He also deals with the bar and any other questions and concerns. There is another employee there who also works the desk and was very sweet and polite.

Overall the staff is nice, price is good, location close to Duval street, however I came here on spring break with 5 other friends where we all shared a room. 4 bunk beds and one king size bed. There was only one sink and one mirror for all of us and it wasn't even full length. No tables, staff didn't come by to switch sheets/ clean/ give new towels/ garbage bag etc... and the room was pretty

Rooms are very small and have moldy smell. Large hole under rug in living room, extremely bad breakfast.

Other than Anthony, the staff is very rude, disrespectful, and aggressive. My company and I were enjoying dinner and a drink on the pool deck around 11pm. The night staff/ security guard came by began scolding us about spring breakers and how disrespectful they are. We told him we were not spring breakers, that we are adults. He proceeded by telling us he does not care and will kick us to the street. He continued to curse us out and call us inappropriate names. We recorded the interaction

Oh where do I start. Positives: price, this would be a great place for ppl under 25 who don't need sleep. I wasn't sure if it was a brothel, hostel, or hotel. If you're young and don't give a $h!t this would be great, but I'm not. We had to call multiple times for ppl partying on the deck above our room which no one was supposed to be on. The balcony doors were screwed shut because they were deemed unsafe. When it rained it poured in the windows. Pools were nasty, cloudy, and smelled of strong chlorine. The floors in our room were so uneven we couldn't shut the dresser

Beware! I booked for Memorial Day weekend with a group of friends, unaware a pandemic would be upon us come Memorial Day. The Nyah hotel is CLOSED Memorial Day weekend and still won't give us a refund. All other hotels in the area are issuing full refunds to guests due to hotels being closed yet this hotel refuses. They are loosing guests that come yearly just to keep a few hundred dollars. The Nyah needs to work on their customer service and putting guests needs first.

We got a private room so didn't have to deal with sharing with strangers. As a hostel type property it's fine. The room wasn't the cleanest but towels were always replaced every morning and beds were "made." I say made because there was just a body size comforter for each bunk bed. No complaints there, it did the trick and the bed was comfy.

The two pools and spa is definitely the main attraction action (and the location was good - not the closest to everything but loved clocking an average of 12-15K steps during the trip). There's basic continental bfast every morning

I stayed here with two of my friends in a private room and we definitely had an okay time at NYAH.

For starters, the lobby is nice and clean, has a bar with a Starbucks machine, and always has someone at the lobby ready to answer questions. During the afternoon they serve snacks and have drink specials for happy hour, and in the morning they offer a continental breakfast of cereal, yogurt, hardboiled eggs, and toast/bagels. There are also always beach towels for use at the pool, and you're able to book excursions and rent bikes as well. My friends and I rented bikes for two days while we

I would stay ANYWHERE but this hotel in the future.

Sure - the pool area was nice. But that's about it. I stayed here three nights and despite complaining on day 2 that our room had not been cleaned (and receiving a very nice call from the manager), our room was still not cleaned the following day. In fact, I checked out without ever receiving maid service at all. I stayed 3 nights!

as for the cleanliness of the rooms, I will let these pictures tell the story better than I can. There were no hooks in the rusty bathroom that needed a little paint at minimum.

Since there was nowhere to
