The Fury family has been in the restaurant business since 1967 and at its current Metairie location since 1983. We make all of our sauces in-house from tomato to tartar, and every meal is freshly made to order. At Fury's we take pride in serving the best home-cooked meals made with the freshest ingredients, all from Fury family recipes passed down through the generations.

If I could give it no stars, I would. Had reservations, table not ready. Waitress had bad attitude. Waited 1.5 hrs for food and had to send it all back. Stone cold. The worst gumbo ever. They have their old clientle. They are not worried about new ones, even though they wasted $$$ on radio ads.

No formalities, one of the best casual Italian dining options in the area. When you walk through the door you feel like you're at your aunt and uncle's house and you're about to eat Sunday dinner. The veal parm is outstanding, the stuffed bell pepper is legendary, and the fried oyster Po boy is my favorite.

Very good food and friendly service. Onion rings cut fresh and perfectly fried not greasy. Seafood plate fresh fried shrimp, oysters and fish. The fish was hot tender and not at all greasy. The meat ball sandwich is very good also. My wife and I split the seafood plate and a meatball sandwich. Really good food.

OMG, I have never had anything bad here. I love the whole fish on Fridays. Portions are generous, prices quite reasonable, wait staff treat you like family.

One of my local go-to places. The best onion rings on the planet. Good breaded veal cutlet, excellent fried seafood too.
The bartender really knows what they're doing, too! I've never had a bad drink here.
Pictured here is the fried flounder - they have trout and soft shell crabs too. The flounder is a little pricey but well worth it. This is the largest fried fish I have ever seen! Stuffed flounder is similar to fried but topped with a crabmeat mix. Again, WELL WORTH IT! Really outstanding place. Going back tomorrow. I really hope they have flounder.

I started with the Eggplant chips and the Trout Carrie for my entree. Both tasted great! The crabmeat was HUGE! Staff was very pleasant.
