If I could leave no stars I would. First time they showed up at my house they were an hour late and didn't clean the couch. I was told they just assess the area despite blocking off a four hour window of my time. Second appointment they never showed up to clean the couch despite my confirming several times. Only once guardsman called her did her technician contact me...hours later. I think that there is a language barrier since she clearly does not understand appointment times and isn't able to communicate what a time window means. Mike has done excellent work repairing and refinishing several furniture pieces for us. In fact, we'd say he worked a miracle esp with one old child's rocker we thought was beyond repair. He returned it far better than it's ever been and his fees have been beyond reasonable. He also makes the process so easy with some home delivery and timely returns. He also refinished our kitchen cabinets and what a beautiful job!! We have already referred Mike to others and don't hesitate to do so!

Completely unethical: I am convinced most positive reviews are fake. My warranty was supposed to cover all spills, I spilled a simple cup of coffee on my sectional. They refused to help because, and I quote, " there is general wear and tear, therefore you do not qualify."
Mean while I have had it for two years and the first time I submit a claim, they say I no longer qualify because of general wear and tear."
Unethical, this company is a perfect example of why people are skeptical it warranties. Complete scam.

Destroyed two of my tables (only three months old) from Ethan Allen. I purchased a warranty from Ethan Allen for $800. Guardsman hired Guardsmanva to do the work. Guardsmanva completely ruined the finish on both of my tables.
UPDATE*** I spoke to owner to explain what had happened. He tried to tell me I wasn’t his costumer and to call Guardsman… directly when it was his company and his employee who did the unprofessional work. As you can see from the attached text - it was his company and his employee. He won’t stand behind the shoddy unacceptable work. What he fails to understand

I have an old bookcase with wooden-framed glass doors on the front. Recently, the frame on one of the doors decided it didn't feel like staying glued together any more. I asked for an estimate just to get the door fixed, but they included an estimate for restoring the entire piece. Mike came out, removed the door from the bookcase, and took it back to the shop. Two days later, I got a message saying that it was all fixed. Mike came back out and reattached it.
