In general, the term "therapy" or "treatment" is associated with the process of healing or recovering. Often, the terms Psychotherapy and Counseling are used synonymously. Psychotherapy is mostly an interpersonal and personal process which aims to help people understand and better cope with conditions, behaviors, emotions, and/or perceptions.
There have been a few times in my life that I went to see counselors. With 100 percent confidence, I can say that PCA was my best, and last stop for counseling! The office is professional and comfortable and my counselor has been a total blessing in my life. I credit my counselor at PCA for being one of the biggest factors in restoring my marriage.

My wife and I did our premarital counseling here with Valerie. We also continue to see Valerie both together and separately as needed when were able to. Valerie is a woman of color, and having someone that looks like us, but also whom is a believer in Christ is important to my wife and I when seeking counseling. This company, and Valerie are nothing short of the epitome of professionalism. I would recommend Professional Counseling Associates and Valerie to anyone, but especially to people of color. Having a counselor that prays with you / for you is a blessing!

I have been seeing Valerie for a couple of months now and she has exceeded and went over and beyond to assist me in any areas that i have been struggling with. I have seen such a positive impact and learned so much about myself and those close to me. She has always been extremely professional and relatable. The amount of care she has for her clients is truly amazing. She also assist me with the tools needed to succeed on a everyday basis. I would highly recommend her!

I’ve been taking my daughter here to see Valerie for just about a year. In this last year she has made some major improvements in her self-image and the way she allows people to treat her. Valerie is very kind and compassionate and my daughter loves her time with her and looks forward to her visits! Would recommend her to anyone!
