Dr. Darrin Foszcz started Discover Chiropractic in 2002 in his home town of Fox Lake, Illinois. And in 202o we expanded our practice into a multi-disciplinary clinic with a new name, DISCOVER INTEGRATED MEDICAL CENTER. We have a team of dedicated providers working together to focus on healing the root cause of pain without the use of drugs or surgery.
The chiropractic adjusting techniques available are varied and include both manual and instrument-based adjusting. The latter type of adjusting uses a gentler approach that's ideal for children. We'll use a combination of these techniques, tailored to you and your situation. We've seen countless practice members get relief from a variety of conditions, including neck and back pain, headaches and less common symptoms such as vertigo or numbness.
Melanie enjoys working with her spouse, Dr. Darrin Foszcz and leading our Discover Chiropractic team. As the business manager, she oversees business operations and coordinates our patient education, marketing and community events. Melanie is also a Certified Holistic Health Coach and specializes in helping busy men and women increase their energy, improve their relationship to food, lose weight, and reduce their toxic load.

Growing up I was plagued with injuries, including a shoulder injury that I was told required surgery. I'd been to the chiropractor several times and thought of chiropractic as just being for neck and back pain. When Dr. Darrin informed his family chiropractor that surgery was advised for his torn rotator cuff, the chiropractor said, "No, we are not doing surgery!"
