Crosser Chiropractic
Here at Crosser Chiropractic, we have been helping people learn how to lead healthier less painful lives for over 30 years. We love helping and supporting our patients, not only with chiropractic treatment but with education on the other aspects of life that may be contributing to pain levels.

The Koren Specific Technique (KST) is a treatment technique used to locate and correct areas of blockage, imbalance, subluxation, impingement, stagnation, and any other stress in the body, mind, emotion, and spirit that can be missed by other healthcare practitioners.KST focuses on communicating with your neurological system, and with muscle testing, it helps find the areas of your discomfort.

Dr. Mark, as most of his patients call him, earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. But, he is not the only chiropractor in the family. It was Dr. Mark's younger brother, also a chiropractor, who's enthusiasm inspired and encouraged Dr. Mark to enter into the healing field.
They detect subluxations, which are misalignments or dysfunctions which compromise the nervous system. It does all three things, it's just that the way it does these is very different from the typical styles of chiropractic that you may be aware of. The methods KST use are more towards the esoteric or vitalistic end of the spectrum as opposed to the exoteric or mechanistic end.
With the use of the Koren Specific Technique (KST), I will tap into your body's energy system, similar to the way someone that manually muscle tests does. I can then tell if your symptoms have physical, emotional, or blocked energy or a combination of all three. You hear the term energy healer frequently in some circles.
Ah, pain - is what drives us to seek some type of care, whether it be a chiropractor, medical doctor, physical therapist, massage therapist, or acupuncturist. The bottom line is pain is telling you something is "wrong." Something has triggered the pain receptors to 'fore' to get your attention. This can be a physical injury, known and unknown (repetitive job), an emotional trigger, or a dietary trigger.
Headaches take on so many forms and can be in any area of the head, and almost any time of the day. But broken down into parts it tells a story to me. Typically morning headaches that are in the forehead are spinally related to the low neck or upper thoracic spine. Afternoon headaches that are on the sides of the head and/or the upper neck are spinally related to the upper cervical spine.
