Middleton Chiropractic welcomes all people of all ages and stages of "health" in their journey to find optimal wellness within the scope of their body's unique potential. Our doctors are specialists in the central nervous system and work to locate and remove nervous system interference through adjustment of the spine in order to allow the body, its cells, tissues, organs and systems, to function normally thereby expressing health and balance.
I was born and raised in Titusville, Pennsylvania; a small town in the north western corner of the state. Our claim to fame includes being the birthplace of the oil industry, home to "muckrakers" like Ida Tarbell as well as the legendary John Heisman. After serving 5 years active duty in the United States Army as a Medic, I worked towards my Bachelor of Science degree at the US Military Academy and Penn State University.
In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."

My entire family has been getting adjusted monthly at Middleton Chiropractic for over 14 years. My children were toddlers when we started and now are young adults and still look forward to going to see Dr Dave each month. I highly recommend the professionals at Middleton Chiropractic to be an active piece of your family’s health goals.
