Owner and photographer at Velvet & Suede Boudoir Studio. I know that deciding to take the leap and book a boudoir experience can be scary, but with the right photographer (*raises hand*) it will be an empowering, fun, confidence-building experience. I decided to specialize in boudoir because I had my own experience in front of the lens a few years ago, and it showed me how positive and powerful boudoir can be for a woman's self-esteem.

If you want the cheapest, this is not it. If you want a personal, transformative self-love experience that will leave you feeling sexy and confident, you found it. The sessions range from one to three hours and length and the booking fee starts at $695 depending on the length of the session you choose, and client investment in digital images, prints, albums and collections begins at $1995.

Karen is absolutely amazing and so talented! This was something out of my comfort zone but she made me feel so comfortable during the photoshoot! The atmosphere is awesome and super laid back. Very private and professional setting. Overall, I had an awesome experience and can’t wait to go back in the future for another session!

I had such an amazing time at Velvet and Suede. Karen made me feel so comfortable. We have very similar personalities so I felt like we just clicked instantly. She is so professional and the studio was incredible. It is totally worth every penny, I was there all day and got to get my hair and makeup done, it was a must needed self-care day. She has hundreds of outfits and she poses you so there is really no need to prepare because she has you covered. All you have to do is just show up and enjoy the process! Karen was amazing to work with from the jump when I inquired about a session. Very friendly, collaborative, responsive, professional, & above all else makes you instantly feel comfortable with something that is so intimate. Karen has a huge variety of outfits to choose from in ALL sizes, a private area away from any curious folks, awesome sets, & insanely good feedback/direction while taking photos. Karen made the process a breeze and so much fun along the way😊 If you are thinking of getting photo& hesitating a little, I strongly encourage you to do it because you will not regret it.

I felt so safe, physically, mentally, and emotionally. The studio was clean and very private, so I felt very comfortable disrobing. At no time did I feel "exposed." Karen never pushed me to do or wear something I was not comfortable with and checked in with me multiple times to make sure I was okay physically and mentally. She also kept saying "beautiful" and "amazing" after taking photos, which showed me how much she invests into making sure the photos are perfect and how much she loved what she was doing. The client closet was huge - I wore 3 outfits that

I had such an amazing time with Karen. She's super down to earth and immediately put me at ease. Esp. when she did things like almost fall off your stool... multiple times. It was like laughing and hanging out with a friend. I felt super comfortable the whole time, and she was constantly saying things like "gorgeous" and "that one's so good" which really made me feel amazing. The photos are stunning and came way earlier than I was expecting! Can't wait to see my album when it's ready!

Oh my gosh!!!! I just did my shoot with Karen yesterday and I’m BLOWN away! The hair and makeup girls were amazing, making me feel like the most beautiful me. Karen walked me through outfits and planned out poses for each one so once we got started everything went so smooth. I had so much fun throughout the shoot and Karen made my inspiration come true, even better than I could imagine!!! The “rough” images I saw were start fire! I feel like I have a whole new confidence level, everyone should do a boudoir shoot! Such an amazing experience and I am now trying to figure out how to plan another
