Services
Our purpose is to help individuals, couples, and families discover and develop their true nature through counseling, seminars, and retreats. We utilize principles, methods and materials supported by scientific research and consistent with a moral world view. It is not our intent to convert anyone to a particular spiritual viewpoint.
We live in a troubled and confusing world that requires a solid, consistent and reliable network of relationships for surviving and realizing our full potential. The importance of relationship on our physical, emotional and spiritual being is something we intuitively know and understand. The author of Genesis stated "It is not good for man to be alone."
Effective counseling is a healing relationship that can restore, renew and transform your life. It helps us secure an identity based in our true nature and allows us to enter into life with hope and confidence. We are made in the image of love, by love, and for love. Our true nature is to love and to be loved.
I am happy to endorse Don's work with couples. It is a pleasure to partner with counselors such as Don who 'get it' and have a heart to make marriages last. It is my privilege to share a few thoughts about Don and his ministry of counseling. I have known Don for several years and have recommended many church members and friends to him for counsel and direction.
Effective marriage counseling will help keep your marriage together. In fact, the right kind of marriage counseling will greatly improve your marital connection. Many of us struggle in our marriage and most of us think that we can and should be able to figure things out for ourselves. I train marital therapists across the country and can vouch for Don ?Sizemore. I worked with Don on a project to give divorcing couples a chance to pause and reconsider ending their marriage. He showed a wonderful ability to connect with these couples and, for those who were open to healing, to help them reconcile and find new joy in their marriage. I recommend him highly.
