For the seventy-plus years of my existence I have struggled with haircuts. The seventies were great because long hair was in fashion. However, as I climbed the job ladder, I found that having a decent haircut was essential. And, as I started to age I became convinced that cooling my hair would stave off Old Man Time. I went in for an appointment with Guillermo himself upon recommendation from a friend who has him do her hair. All he kept saying was you have a lot of hair. He also tried to recommend coloring. The haircut was not very good at all, in fact it was kind of old lady looking with one side flipping out. He did not handle the bulkiness in my hair at all for all the talk about how much hair I have. I want to point out - I have short hair and wanted it styled cute and not so heavy. I did not get what I wanted for the hefty $65 price tag. I also get nervous when the stylist ask me if they can cut

I wanted to try something new for my hair and from previous reviews decided to try Guillermo's Salon in Sarasota. What a wonderful experience. I was in the hands of a professional. He understood what I was trying to achieve and gave what I wanted. Best experience I have ever had. I will be a regular from now on.

Excellent Salon! I've been going to Guillermo for too many years to count. He and his talented staff attend all the shows and keep up with the styles and trends and will keep your look current! Prices are very reasonable and you can get an appointment usually on fairly short notice. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I love this salon! I can get my nails, toes & hair done all at the same time. I have a set appointment every other week and I never have to wait and the staff is always upbeat and fun. The salon is super neat and tidy and prices are right! I am a very satisfied customer and will continue to come to Guillermos Salon for many more years!
