HOPE Preschool first opened its doors to the Ashburn community in 1992. During that first year, there were 60 children enrolled in the preschool. After a building renovation in 1995, we have developed our program to be a model preschool in the community. The staff at HOPE Preschool includes teachers and assistants who are skilled professionals, many of whom have educational or childcare backgrounds.
All activities are developmentally planned and supervised by our professional staff. The preschool hires by the Commonwealth of Virginia's standards for religiously exempt child day centers.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about HOPE Preschool! Both of my kids went. It’s bitter sweet that my youngest is in his last year there. The teachers and administrators are so sweet and nice. Every morning they greet the kids with a smile. Academically, the school does an amazing job making sure the kids are well prepared for kindergarten. They also have opportunities for after school programs such as lunch bunch and both art and science programs. The school puts on a cute puppet show once a month which focuses on the monthly bible verse. They also collect items that are needed for the

We love Hope! My two daughters went there, and my son will be starting preschool there next year. The staff really loves and cares for the children. The facility is safe and clean. Hope is also the only preschool around that offers a car line drop-off and pick-up. I really appreciated this when my girls were small and my son was an infant, so that we didn't have to get out of the car.

We have had all four of our children attend HOPE Preschool and we cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we toured the building we immediately felt like it was "home" and knew it was where we wanted our kids to enjoy their preschool years. The staff has been absolutely wonderful and so warm and caring. They make every day fun and go above and beyond to create a safe and educational environment for the kids. Our little one comes home every day so eager to tell us about the fun she had and the new things she learned (she was able to retell the entire story of the Mayflower's journey to America

My daughter is in her first year at Hope and I couldn't be happier!! I felt that everything was very well laid out in the tour and the accompanying paperwork so that all expectations were clearly set. Her teachers are wonderful, communication from the school is top-notch and the programs that they put on are adorable. My daughter is in the 4 year old class and I've noticed a huge improvement in her writing, coloring, cutting and addition skills since starting school. Everyone that I've met including her music teacher, office administrators and support staff is very friendly and

The tour was very well done however, the expectations were not clearly laid out. The potty training expectations for three year olds is not clear until after you pay your non-refundable deposit. They expect the young three year olds to be able to potty independently which means they go their own, wipe and then pull up their own pants. They also have to wash hands independently. If your child soils themselves you are called to come pick them up. They say they do not help clean them up or assist the child in anyway. For working parents and any parent of a young child who is potty trained/training
