Golden Pond School is a fully-accredited private Preschool, Kindergarten, After School Enrichment and Summer Camp for ages 2-8 from 7am - 6pm offering both Part-Time and Full-Day options. GPS provides an impressive brain-based curriculum and interactive learning environment. GPS' warm and charming campus, plus highly-qualified teachers and integrated curriculum make it the leader for early childhood learning.
The Golden Pond Way combines the best of established methods, such as Montessori and Reggio Emilia, with current neuroscience research on how children learn. This approach guides our teachers to nurture and educate the whole child by making learning meaningful at every stage in their rapid development.
Our welcoming, child-centered campus in residential Ashburn, Virginia, reinforces every aspect of the Golden Pond Way. Spacious, cheerful classrooms overflowing with exciting materials and books evolve into stimulating picture- and print-rich environments, as children engage in learning through themes.

The Golden Pond school was one of many schools I toured eight years ago while searching for that “perfect” preschool for my first born child. I was so impressed with the school’s wholesome approach of learning thru play. The curriculum looked challenging, but not overwhelming for pre K children, allowing to enjoy the learning process and what’s mostly important- to develop the love for learning itself. My child utterly enjoyed the school all the way thru kindergarten. So, the Golden Pond was the only choice for us when my second child was ready to enter the pre-k.

There is truly no place like Golden Pond. We have tried several places and have finally found a home in GPS. We have a 2 yr old and a Kindergartner this year. Both are thriving and we are so incredibly pleased with how all the staff continually strive to provide our children an incredibly safe a loving environment during this challenging time.
Our daughter is loving every day in Kindergarten. The teachers are incredibly creative and continually make learning so much fun for the kids. This year they have had a simple machine expo to showcase pulleys, levers, etc. My daughter came home daily chatting

It’s been 3 years since we have become part of the Golden Pond family. Our son started as a preschooler, now he’s in the kindergarten program. We couldn't have made a better decision than to choose GPS. It’s priceless for us to see our son enjoying the school, watching him go to school excitedly every morning and coming home happily.
So Golden Pond will be our only choice for our twins’ preschool, too! Can’t wait to see them walking through GPS door!

Golden Pond is one of the best in this area!! We looked at so many preschools before deciding on Golden Pond for our daughter (and later our son) – one of the best decisions we ever made for her and our other kids. As soon as we walked in the building, we fell in love with the warm and interactive atmosphere, from the front desk all the way to the classrooms. We also love their brain-based/interactive learning method, and how it really built our kids love of school. That was one of the things we wanted most out of preschool. We have been a Golden Pond family since 2013, and going...!

We found Golden Pond because of their Full Day Kindergarten program. We found this gem tucked in the heart of Ashburn based on some friends recommendations. As soon as we toured the school, we knew immediately it would be the right fit for our family. The facility is gorgeous, meticulously maintained, and staffed with top notch educators who show compassion, and great skill on a daily basis. We truly had the most amazing year, and are continuing to see the success of our son from the solid foundation that Golden Pond set for him. Go and tour the amazing facility with Mrs. Grace, you must see it

As a former teacher, I recognize how important it is for a teacher to see each child as in individual learner with different strengths and challenges. I love how GPS tunes into each child and makes their learning experience rewarding and relevant to them. It allowed our daughter to grow in her own love of learning and gave her such pride in her accomplishments...I immediately loved how GPS approached learning new things from different perspectives. A child learns faster and retains information longer if they experience it, rather than just hear it. Golden Pond takes this to new levels. Learning

My boys have loved their years at Golden Pond School. We came here for the Junior Kindergarten Program specifically and then stayed for Kindergarten because we loved it so much. The teachers are the heart of the school and so is their unique and engaging curriculum. Everything they do is hands on and uses critical thinking. My boys have loved the themes- which are not your typical preschool themes.... oviparous animals anyone? I highly recommend taking a tour- we wish we had sooner!

It has been an incredible experience to be a member of the admin team at Golden Pond School. I have never worked at a school that cares so deeply for each child. We could not be happier with our experience at Golden Pond School. We began teaching Amazing Athletes to the kids last fall and we are back again this spring. The teachers, faculty, and families have totally embraced our program and are so supportive of what we do. The GPS team has welcomed us into their home, and treated us so well since we have been there. Their overall processes, organization, leadership, and relationships with their kids and families is top notch! We look forward to our classes every week, and we truly enjoy being at the school. Our family has been with Golden Pond since 2010. Our sons have had the best experience and I can't say enough good things about the school. The environment is family-oriented and even teachers who haven't had my kids, still know them by name! A nurturing, safe, fun place for all children and of course a great education. My two older boys also attended full-day Kindergarten which was worth every penny and then some. We still keep in touch with the families we have met through the years and my kids have playdates with children they met at age 3. (they are now 9 and 6.5). Some of my best mommy friends
