A key member of my traveling group couldn't go due to being in contact with a friend who was diagnosed with Covid, as a result I had to cancel the trip and our stay with Blue Marlin. Even though the cancellation deadline had passed, after I explained to the lady about our situation, the hotel was very accommodating and allowed me to cancel. Thank you!

Nice hotel at a reasonable price. Rooms are recently remodeled and spacious. Good location, close to the mile zero marker. Pool is nice as well... My only complaint is breakfast. Bagels were gluten free and not fit for human consumption, and every single item was wrapped in plastic. Probably filled up an entire landfill with non-degradable plastic in a single meal. Otherwise I would have given it five stars.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, great pool. What else could you ask for in key west? Super affordable motel with great locations. Only suggestion I’d make is to have a better continental breakfast. Lord knows ya need a good breakfast in the morning after a night out in key west. Other than that, for just picking a place off google based of location and price, blue marlin is deff a good choice.

Me & my friend stayed at the blue marlin for a few days this was our 1st time in KEY WEST....this place was outstanding!!! clean rooms beautiful pool area the girl at the desk when we arrived was great had us laughing we talked to her for over 20 before we even got our room cards....if I can give her a 10 star I would...great costumer service!!!! All and all I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

I stayed there with my best friend and found a very clean and nice place. Location is very convenient, room and bathroom size are good and the place seems renovated. The maintenance guy was very kind...gave us some great ideas about what to do around the area and the rooms had its own parking space. Will definitely recommend the place to anyone who want to experience Key West on a budget.

Rooms are very nice and clean. Very awesome service. The parking is a little tight and cost 15 dollars a night and you don't get to park by your door. It's easy to get to your room though. All in all I would recommend staying here if you come to Key West. They also serve breakfast and coffee in mornings and have a pool.

Rooms are fine, cheaply remodeled recently. Main issue being that we were never told that we needed to return our parking tags at checkout. These are .50 tags that they write numbers on with a sharpie and… charge you $20 if not returned! Pool is terrible, and no breakfast currently being served. You get the service and quality of a cheap motel.

They place was great but Nani at the front desk was beyond incredible. She went out of her way to accommodate me and made me feel welcome and at home. She personally delivered me fresh towels when requested. Her smile made everything perfect. Definitely an asset to your organization. I will be staying there again. Thank you Nani!

Check in-clerk: dark haired woman was very nice. Also older dark haired gentleman that night, very nice. Electric went out during our stay, wasn't sure if it was just our room, went to ask. Blonde woman with accent at desk was very rude and unfriendly! I asked about the electric and she acted like I was stupid.I stated, she didn't have to be rude and she yelled that she wasn't then cussed at me! My husband said she was also rude to him. WE WILL NOT SPEND OUR MONEY THERE AGAIN BECAUSE OF HER. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I own a business and you must be friendly and professional while working

My friend and I decided to take a girls trip at the last minute. The Blue Marlin had the best rate we could find last minute, so we booked it. The room had 2 queen beds, which was great. It was a bit of a hike to the middle of old town which was a bit different for me but it really wasn't that bad. The room was clean and looked like it had been updated fairly recently. I believe we had a handicapped room because the shower was open with no doors and there were grab bars in the bathroom. The water did not stay in the shower that well but that was the worst of it. We stayed here three nights in December. We were on the second floor in a two beds room. The best thing is the AC works so well! Room was clean. We had a refrigerator & microwave. The only negative is the drain in the tub didn't really drain quickly. Staff is sort of to the point not that friendly. The breakfast as others have stated isn't great. There are plenty of places to eat around Key West. Parking is $15 a night but good to know you have a spot. We didn't get to use the pool. There are coin washers and dryers on site. Good location to walk to almost anything

So I'll start by saying that the rooms are nice and large, as well as the bathroom which ours had three shower heads. The poll claims to be heated but I thought it was cold, but it's a pool so I'm sure I would of gotten used to it if I stayed in. The main reason I am giving this hotel only three stars is because I couldn't sleep. The beds are not comfortable and my back was killing me, but also there was a rooster outside our room all night squawking. It woke me up initially at 1am and then it just wouldn't shut up. Disappointed that management would not make an exception to their cancellation policy for an extreme medical emergency. Thought that least a partial refund or credit towards a future stay could have been accommodated. So sad!!!

The room was clean and nice, but they were doing construction on the wall of our room way too early this morning. We woke up to incredibly loud construction tool noises. I recorded a video of it... wish I could post it here. They really shouldn't have put us in a room that shares a wall with a construction site. The level of noise and time of morning was unacceptable. There was also a foul smell from the seaweed that has washed ashore, which the motel can't control, but keep that in mind if you plan to stay on this side of the island around July 2019.

I really wanted to like this motel and felt like I gave it more than enough shots to impress me during our four night stay. Unfortunately, I can't really recommend this place in the current state.
At check in we were given room 119 which, when we opened the door, was completely and total demolished/being worked on. We went back to the front and were given a new room but the guy said that it showed "clean" in the system.
My guess is that they are remodeling each room a little at a time and unfortunately we were given one that was a little more "in between" than others

Location, location, location! Perfectly situated just next to Duval where most of the action is. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. It's situated just a couple minutes walk from the Southern most point. You can see it from the corner! Plenty of good restaurants near-by as well. Onto the hotel itself: It's multi-level but seemed to be pretty quiet. The rooms are very basic (and dated) and simple. It's a clean place to sleep, but not much to look at. Don't get excited over the free breakfast because it's just toast and coffee.

I stayed here for six nights with two kids for a nice spring vacation. The rooms were spacious, clean, pool was well maintained too. The thing which turned me on to the hotel were the rates and central location. Rates were about 300-375 a night. Not bad for Key West. May other places typed out at 800p
Per night and rooms were smaller. The location was awesome. Walking distance to many great spots. We rented bikes and pedaled our way around. Parking is hard, and cars don't move fast here. Bikes are the best way because you can chain them up anywhere. I was very satisfied with
