Jenevieve Purcell has more than a decade of experience in logistics, event planning and production. She perfected her craft out on the open road touring with bands, where high pressure situations demanded creative and swift solutions. Our love story began with an invite to a BBQ. The two of us met and bonded over chicken wings, bowling and photography.

No we do not. Our cameras have the ability to shoot multiple images in a matter of seconds, that would be an overwhelming amount of photos that all looked very similar! Instead, we carefully look over every image shot and choose the best images that capture your amazing day. While we have had the privilege to shoot a lot of the venues in Atlanta, we by all means have not shot them all.

These two are both incredible and make a perfect team. I HIGHLY recommend Ryan and Jenevieve. They made us feel so comfortable right from the beginning. We had a great couple of hours, they are super friendly and easy to get along with. Jenevieve even helped me choose which outfit I should wear! They both definitely went above and beyond what we expected. The photos turned out amazing and we absolutely cannot wait to work with them for our wedding coming up later in the year.

ABSOLUTELY the best wedding photographers!!! They shot our wedding and rehearsal dinner 4 years ago and we still marvel at the wonderful images they captured. We were so happy we found them and they were willing to travel to our wedding in WV. What an absolutely fun and professional team. We can not say enough good things about them and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional photography. Double thumbs up!!

I personally have known these wonderful humans before our wedding but Ryan and Jenevive made our special day so much more magical than I could have ever imagined! I wouldn’t have picked any other duo in the world to help capture our day! We were looking for a photographer who is a bit quirky and fun, as we are not a super traditional couple. As I started to research my options, Gemini + The Bear immediately stood out. I loved the way that Jenevieve and Ryan had beautiful, high-quality images and were great at both incorporating Atlanta landmarks and pets in their photography, two factors that were very important. They had also previously shot weddings and engagement pics at the venue we selected for our pictures. When we set out to choose a photographer we knew this would be one of the more difficult selections for vendors. These are the people who will share some of your most intimate moments from your special day and there is a lot of ways that a bad photographer could mess that up. But, thanks to a fortuitous recommendation, we directed to the website of Gemini and the Bear and we were impressed.
