Our Early Childhood Education classroom communities known as the "The Ladybugs, " "The Bumblebees", "The Dragonflies" offer a rich variety of opportunities for children to experience freedom within a secure, attractively structured and welcoming environment. The child coming from Early Childhood (Preschool and Kindergarten) to elementary has an especially smooth transition because the materials build upon each other.
Summer brings out fun camps at CMS! Each week is a different theme which lets children explore an interest or develop a new skill. We at CMS believe that it is important to clearly state our values and to take action to support those values. Our mission is to educate our students in an environment where all people feel welcome and included.

School an extended home, a place where you develop your confidence and skills for a great future. Elementary years in a child's life is a very important period and we believe is crucial in shaping an individual. We as a family have moved quite a bit and have had the pleasure of being a part of three great Montessori communities in the country.

From their website : "It is ACS WASC's consistent purpose to professionally support schools in creating for themselves a clear vision of what they desire their students to know and be able to do and then to ensure that efficient and relevant systems are in place that predictably result in the fulfillment of those expectations for every child."

Our son Dillon started the Montessori system at a previous school for roughly one year and although we were happy with his development, it wasn't until we moved to Rancho Bernardo and enrolled him into Country Montessori did we really see the value in choosing the right school. At 3 years of age, we were amazed at how quickly, yet subtle his personality started to develop, even though he'd already been in the Montessori setting for over 12 months.

We were at Country Montessori School for 8 years now and were so impressed with quality of the education. Our child has been instilled with an incredible love of learning. She enjoys the Montessori materials and the new challenges in working with the materials at higher grade levels.
The teachers are so caring and involved in each child's needs and progress. We are so confident in method and knowledge provided at the school.
There is a strong sense of community with the other parents at the school. Community is not easy to find and often hard to build, but it is very strong at the school.

Coming to CMS is absolutely the best decision we made for our son who has been attending CMS since he was 3. He is now in 5th grade. Our family will miss being part of the CMS community next year. The Montessori education has suited him well. Not only is he excelling academically and socially, he has learned to be independent. Most important, he loves to learn. CMS has a strong community with Staff and parents who genuinely care about the students. The school carries a lot of positive energy, and everyone is visibly happy. If you are looking for an environment where children will be able to maximize

Both of my children went to CMS from pre-K through 5th grade, and we love it. The teachers are thoughtful and very well trained, and the administration was friendly and responsive to any concerns we had. My older child is now in a public high school in the Poway district and his experiences at CMS not only prepared him academically but socially as well. Recent upgrades to the buildings and playgrounds have made the campus more comfortable and attractive, but the real value of our childrens' experience there was driven by the excellent teachers and administrators, fellow students, and dedicated

I have recently had the opportunity to tour Country Montessori School and was amazed at the spaciousness of all the classrooms and how well they were all equipped to provide a top notch learning environment. The large grounds are also well equipped to offer their students the opportunity exercise by participating in various sport related activities across the campus. Truly a beautiful place for learning.
