My Room To Grow Preschool

Our son started at My Room to Grow during the pandemic when many of the other preschools had closed. It was a big adjustment for him to start a new school but they made sure to give him the one on one attention that he needed until he felt comfortable. It wasn't long before he was racing to get ready and out the door for school! The teachers take the time to get to know all of the children, not just those in their assigned class, and the director, Meghan is amazing! My younger son has been going to My Room to Grow since he was 2 and we have had nothing but great things to say about his time there. He has learned and grown so much! The teachers are extremely nice and love the kids, the Director is very professional and always responded on a timely manner if we had any concerns. Overall it has been a great experience, not only for our son, but for us as parents as well, we definitely recommend to anyone and everyone! My son has been going to this preschool since he was about 2 years old. (Now he is almost 4). All teachers here are so caring and experienced. He had a hard time saying good bye in the morning in the beginning, but they knew how to handle the situation and made us feel as comfortable as possible. Also teachers know the kid's name by heart regardless which class they are in. My son LOVES going to school, and he has learned age appropriate academic skills but more importantly (for us) he has learned social skills and how to follow the instructions. Our 3 year old started with My Room to Grow as his first preschool or daycare experience and the staff has been wonderful. I could tell during my tour that it was a very loving school. This has proved to be true. My son is having hard time saying goodbye in the morning. Meghan, the Director, has been so loving and kind and comforting to him. It is amazing and heart warming to see. Ms. Kathy helps him throughout his day and he has lots of fun once the goodbye is over. The crafts and playground are great! Also, it's is a huge help for working parents that all meals and snacks are provided.

We are moving to VA and leaving our My Room to Grow family is one of the hardest for us. Our son started with them at 18mths now almost 3! The teachers are amazing, they take the time to talk to you about the different issues / concerns / goods you have. The school has a great program that comes to the school called PlayBall, our son has an amazing time with that too! The love they show all of the kids, I know my son is in great hands.

When you look for a preschool, trust, kindness and structure are as important as curriculum. I scoured Poway for months before deciding on MRTG. I have had the absolute privilege to call MRTG home to my two kids. I trusted both my kids elementary school prep here and could not be happier. In fact, when my kids went to kindergarten, their teachers could tell which kids went to which preschool and commented on both kids how well prepared they were. We were so lucky to find this amazing preschool. From the very first day my daughter loved her school, teachers and friends. She has learned so much and the creative and innovative curriculum is amazing. The teachers have amazing relationships with each and every child and are always responsive to any questions. I would recommend My Room to Grow to anyone looking for a wonderful environment for their children.

WONDERFUL PRESCHOOL/DAYCAREl! I have been meaning to write a review for a LONG time. The minute I walked in to view the school, I could tell the kids were loved... even with a cook in the kitchen sweetly preparing their food for snacks and lunch. The staff is amazing. My family is going through a challenging time, and the staff has been very sympathetic and helpful to my kids giving them the support they need. Grammy brings Haven (grand daughter) to her preschool, alot of very active children. Haven feels very comfortable in her classroom and w/ her teacher, several safety checks. Such a delight to watch Haven play & interface with other children.♡

I have to say that I am absolutely thrilled that my Granddaughter is at this school. She literally skips into school each day and asks to go on the weekend. Her teacher, and all the teachers I have come in contact with, are professionals, mature, caring and kind. The Director is amazing. We feel blessed to have found this special school. Thank you!

My daughter started here when she turned 2, and has been attending this pre-school for 17 months. I highly recommend this school for the following reasons..
- majority of their teachers have been there for many years, I have not seen any leave just new ones added due to growth
- They treat my daughter as if they were caring for their own children, little things that sometimes get overlooked at other schools, like making sure they have jackets on when it's colder outside, or refilling their water cup when it's low. Putting sunblock on when it's sunny outside.

My 3 year old got his introduction to daycare/preschool here and I must say, I'm very impressed! He had a rough first two weeks but by the third week, he wanted to go to "school". He would kick and scream like crazy and the staff would assist me in getting him inside the classroom and calmed him down. They sent me pics showing me that he was ok and not screaming to be picked up. I truly appreciate the staff taking their time to assure me that my son was doing well and adjusting.

This review is so overdue!! Our daughter has been coming here since she was 18 months. She is now in the pre-k class and will be graduating this year.

She absolutely loves her teachers (and so do we). They are caring, loving and also strict with the children, which you need to be as they are being shaped into decent human-beings.

They helped us potty-train her, they hold great events where the parents can attend such as Halloween carnival and Thanksgiving Feast (as long as your child can handle seeing you and then leaving them). Holiday concert is held after work hours in December at Midland

My daughter just graduated from this preschool. My son will graduate next year. I can't say enough good things about the teachers as well as the owner of this preschool. The care my kids receive at this facility is amazing. Their love they have for our children is comforting especially when we can't be there. They have taught our kids so much and we can't thank them enough. I highly recommend this facility to everyone i know and don't know. Your kids will be safe and well taken care of attending My Room To Grow!!!!

I think this is a fantastic pre-school. My husband and I are just so impressed with what our son has learned in the past year that he's been there. They are ALWAYS planning fun activities for the kids. He comes home singing new songs that he has learned and counting and singing abc's (only 2 years old!). Before we found this school he was at a nightmare of a home daycare and I couldn't be more thankful for the teachers at this school. They truly care for the children and go above and beyond!

Overall a great experience for our daughter. While the school is OLD (I briefly attended preschool here 28 years ago), the teachers are all extremely nice and love the kids. The enviroment has been a good one and our daughter has made a ton of new friends at the school. If you're in Poway and looking for an affordable and consistent preschool, this is a great choice.

This is been the 2nd time around that I've chosen this school for my child. My oldest one is 15 y.o. now - she went to this school when she was 4 y.o. After she graduated, in the first couple of years, during her pre-school, kindergarten, and the 1st grade in a regular public school, she kept asking me to bring her back to My Room to Grow as she was missing her teachers. Now, 11 years later, it's her brother's turn to go there and to have fun with all the activities and curriculum that been offered by Ms. Marina and the staff. This is the worst daycare ever. My 2.5 year old daughter now has night terrors because of that place. She came home everyday starving and dehydrated. Within 3 weeks, she came down with 2 ear infections when she never had a single one before then. She had to be home an entire week because of it, and we weren't refunded. I always paid two weeks in advance and one time there were two days that the center would be closed and nobody told me. They still let me pay for 10 days even though it was only going to be open for 8. Didn't receive any notification until the week of. Kind of late by then

I would like to take some time to compliment the Director and the entire Staff. I contacted Marina(Director) at 6am and she made arrangements to meet with me the same morning knowing that i needed to find a preshool for my kids as soon as possible due to a move.The very first day the kids felt welcomed and was excited to return every day that followed. The children their are treated with care and love. I have witnessed the teachers taking care of each child and ensuring every children treats eachother with respect. Prior to my kids attending to My Roon To Grow, they would conisitently get sick

I love this preschool! I moved my son to this school when he was 23 months after various issues at the old school. He loved this school from the start. He is now 10 years old and still speaks highly of the school. My 8 year old went through the school and my 4 year old is in her last year there. It will be sad when she graduates this June.

The teachers here are awesome. They have all been around for several years if not as far back as to when my son was attending, which is unheard of in the preschool business!

They teach a pre-k curriculum to the children so they are definitely ahead
