Services
Our practice at Big Sky Pediatric Dentistry is lead by Dr. Gabe Dawson. Dr. Gabe is a 4th generation Kalispell, Montana native. After graduating from Flathead High School, he went on to receive his bachelors degree in Neuroscience at Montana State University, and dental school at the University of Washington in Seattle.

Our team is fully dedicated to our mission of providing thoughtful, hospitable care to our patients and their families - making a trip to the dentist something that can be fun, easy and informative for everyone involved.
Regular teeth cleanings are important - in fact, they're the foundation of a healthy smile for any child. By scheduling cleanings early and often, you'll help your child build a strong foundation of dental health they'll carry with them into adulthood. Teeth cleanings are learning opportunities. At Big Sky Pediatric Dentistry, we'll sit your child down and tell them exactly what we're doing, how we're doing it, and why it's important.
We happily accept any and all dental insurance plans and providers. If you have questions, whether they're finance-related or not, please contact our front desk. Our staff is ready to support you in any way you need. We also ask that you please keep us informed of any insurance changes such as policy name, insurance company address, or a change of employment.
We schedule appointments at your convenience. If you need help, or if you have questions about the process, let us know. Our staff is ready to work with you to find the right time for you to bring your child in for a visit. Think about the time of day. For preschool and elementary school-age children, we recommend scheduling for the morning, when they're more awake and we can take our time in ensuring their comfort.

Dr. Gabe and his staff are incredibly professional and genuinely sweet. I brought my newborn daughter in to have her lip tie/tongue tie treated. Everyone I encountered made us feel special and cared for. I don’t think it’s well known in the valley that you can have a laser procedure here. Dr. Gabe followed up the next day personally. They gave us a… cute onsie and Dr. Gabe sat down with me and detailed her after care so that I understood. I will be bringing my two year old son who has some sensory processing issues for his first appointment, I am confident they will be patient

Dr. Gabe is wonderful! I would definitely recommend him and his skilled team. Dr. Gabe is gentle, kind, and professional with the kids as well as the parents. My college age daughter went to the “adult” dentist once and had a terrible experience. Without hesitation Dr. Gabe said she could keep come back to him as long as she wants to. I have 3 children (high school and up) that have never had a filling thanks to the excellent and thorough care of Dr. Gabe over the years. Thank you!

Best pediatric dentist office ! My daughter loves the kid friendly waiting room with games and iPads as well as the ceiling screens with movies while she has her cleanings. The hygienists are all super welcoming and comforting.
We have seen both Dr Camille and Dr Gabe who are both exceptional with our kids. Going to the dentist is fun at Big Sky Pediatric Dentistry.

Very happy with Big Sky Ped's! I have an 8 and 4 year old and we have been coming here for 2 years now. They do very well with my youngest, who started off a very hesitant 2 years old. Now he just hops up in the chair and lets them do their thing! Very professional and clean building. Dr. Gabe has a great bedside manner with the kids. Highly recommend

Oh yes we had start at this clinic when my oldest was 2 , 11 years later we r still here , what’s amazing n perfect timing for our family was when dr Gabe took it over , being young n did some time over at children’s had hands on with bmt patients I knew we were n r good hands ! As we so many more kids with transplant stuff it’s good have dr here who seen stuff way go dr Gabe!
