Hi! I'm Emily, a midwest girl who grew up to be an east coast mom. I wasn't always a photographer. I wasn't born with a camera and lens in front of my face : But just like you, I've always been creative and curious and looking to find my place in the world. Twenty years ago, while studying music performance in college, I thought that playing the clarinet, on stage, in an orchestra, was where I'd find it.
You turn hard work into grace. You transform sweat into beauty. You learn to control and technique to look effortless and free. All because you dance. Because you have to dance. Now is the time to celebrate the work that you've done, the sacrifices you've made and all that you've achieved.

As a professional photographer, clients are my window to the world. I am honored to have worked with so many amazing families, students, dancers, and individuals who have allowed me to see into their lives, their spirit and their passions. I am so thankful for them, and it means so much to me when they share their joy for the images we created together.
I'm located right in the heart of Devon PA, and a short drive away from beautiful Valley Forge National Park in Chester County, Pennsylvania, which is just 45 minutes from Center City Philadelphia. I hold photo sessions at my studio or on location throughout the greater Philadelphia area. I'm available to travel throughout the region and can make arrangements for further distances to fit your needs.
Your dancers love the art of dance and live to perform in the spotlight. Your amazing teachers and directors inspire them to give it everything they've got. Together you all spend many focused, fun, and sweaty hours in the studio, learning and practicing for a singular goal: to create a moment in time, on stage, to share with your audience.

My 13-year old daughter had a wonderful experience with Emily during her dance audition photoshoot. Emily worked directly with her to perfect each pose until she was happy with the results. Emily had her pick all her photos at the end which she loved. She said it was so much fun and the photos turned out amazing. These photos are exactly what we needed for her Summer Intensive audition registration. We will definitely use Emily again when we need other dance photos. Such a pleasure.

The picture quality, service and product were amazing.

Emily was wonderful to work with! She made the process easy and exciting. She walked me through step by step from planning the photo shoot, including clothing and location, all the way through dropping off our final product. We had regular information sessions so I always felt prepared and never overwhelmed. She made the day fun and even my teenager had a good time! She was very patient with our 5 year who does not follow instructions well. Emily is a professional but she is also warm and friendly, and all my children responded to her. But most of all, she captured beautiful photos that truly reflect

Emily took both my law school graduation photos and my professional headshots in April of 2021. From the moment I called her with an inquiry, she conducted her business so professionally. We discussed pricing, scheduling, and even possible printing and framing options all at the outset.
My photos were taken over two sessions. Emily had thought of every detail - from suggesting lipstick to cover any dry lips to researching and obtaining
