I believe my perspective as a designer and artist, adds a creative dimension to the often technical challenges faced by professional photographers. After graduating from the Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia, PA I worked initially as a commercial artist and illustrator, and then as a partner in Walker & Naylor, Inc., which was one of the first companies in the region to adapt computer technology to the graphic arts.
From there we became Naylor DeDonato & Wolf. Along the way I developed an interest and later a passion for photography. In 2006 I went back out on my own as Dan Naylor Photography. Although based in the Philadelphia area, my assignments take me throughout the United States and Canada. A project is quoted based on a per day, or half day rate plus the number of final shots to be delivered.

Great architectural photographs depend on knowing how to deal with what mother nature gives you and your client's deadline. With a background in illustration and photo retouching before the computer age, I have the ability to remove, signs, trucks, wires and other distractions in post production. Based outside of Philadelphia, PA, my assignments have taken me through out the United States and Canada.

When photographing people, expression is everything and having the ability to bring out a great expression from a person, is part of the art. Like the products we sell, our head-shots are on our websites, business cards, Linkedin, Facebook and so on. My goal is to make an individual look as good as possible, from touching up minor blemishes, to fixing their teeth a month before the dentist does the real work.

I have been in a networking group with Dan for many years now here locally in the Bucks County PA area. I have been able to view many of his outstanding services as he provides displays in our meeting several times a year, where he goes into detail the many processes he uses to excel at what he does for seeking the best photographic expression of the person or product. I have created websites for two different Interior Designers that have used Dan Naylor to photograph their work. His photographs of their interiors, kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas, are far superior to any other photographs that I have worked with... great attention to detail, the composition and lighting in the photos are perfect... and he's easy to work with... We have a 3 bay Auto repair shop, Dan came out to our location and took our head shots in the office. He has all the lighting and equipment needed on site. He has also taken shots inside and out at a later time of our shop and some work that we have done. There is no other company I would use to take commercial photos.
