We've been a family-run business in downtown Abilene, Texas for over 23 years. We set up shop in 1992 under a different name by Leif Merck and his parents. Leif still runs the business, now 3rd Street Printing, with his son, Danny, and Abbie and Sheila, who aren't related but feel like one of the family.
Looking for professional business cards? We can help! We provide design and printing services to businesses, large and small. Business cards are just the beginning! Provide us with the information you would like on your business cards and let us design them. Or bring in a design you already have and we can print them for you.
How should I submit my files? We love pdfs with crop marks and bleeds. We like other files, too, but may charge a minimal fee to get them "press-ready." If you are in doubt, just send them over to orders@3rdstprinting.com and we'll let you know if we can work with them. Do you make copies?
If you walk in and need few copies and the press isn't in the middle of a job, we'd be happy to make them for you, but in general, we are a print shop, not a copy shop.Do you do design work? Yes! We have a designer on staff who can create you a design from scratch. He only works in the morning though, so if you'd like to discuss your design project, call or come by before lunch!

I have used 3rd Street once before for business purposes, but tried to use them this week for a very small personal job and they were extremely difficult to work with.
I sent a file over (13 pages) to be printed on a Friday at 11am, didn’t get a response until Monday midday, stopped by Monday evening to get them (not ready), followed up again on Tuesday with no response, called Tuesday and she told us to come back Wednesday.
I truly wouldn’t have minded the time frame if they would’ve been upfront through email and at least responded to my questions or seemed to care. If I would’ve known

Abby is fantastic!! She took my almost impossible order and made it happen in almost impossible time. I know there may be less expensive options but often the money saved isn't worth the great experience and the friendly faces that become fast friends. It's totally worth keeping your money local. Especially if you are a business owner. Isn't that what you ask of your customers? 3rd street printing is my go to choice from now on!

Incredible customer service and quick turn around. Abbie was wonderful to work with! I was referred to 3rd Street Printing by a friend and submitted a super last minute request to bulk order custom stickers... with the hopes of being completed by Saturday (3 day time frame) and they were printed and ready for pick-up same day! So very impressed with the quality and friendly service! I look forward to working with 3rd Street again!
