Take a few moments to express your wishes now and help to ease the burden on your loved ones. Really thankful for the Loomis, they did a great job, they were very attentive and respectful, opened the door for all the guests in and out, clean facility, my uncle looked great, like he was sleeping, directed the vehicles to a comfortable parking space.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938, Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Jim Loomis was a native born Floridian raised in Winter Garden, Florida. Jim attended Lakeview High School, where he met his high school sweetheart Betty Beasley and lifelong best friend. Headstones and permanent markers stand the test of time. They are a visible and longstanding tribute to a life that has been lived. Permanent Memorials individualize and designate a physical place where loved ones can come to pay their respects. We offer a wide selection of permanent markers and headstones in Apopka.
At Loomis Funeral Home, we understand that not all families want the same things when it comes to funerals and burial services. Many memorials are grave and solemn occasions, and appropriately so. At the same time, a funeral service can be a season of catharsis and even joy, as family members and loved ones celebrate and honor the life of a departed loved one who left a big impact on the world.

I just recently lost my Mom who was living in Leesburg, FL. That's something that only happens once in your life and being prepared just never seems to be the case.
I live out of town so the whole thing was something that had to be arranged remotely. I had worked with Loomis Funeral Home a couple times in the past with only some aspects of the process as my Dad, Father-In-Law, and Mother-In-Law all passed outside of Florida, but because they were all from the area, we had all the Funeral services and burial done locally in Apopka by Loomis Funeral home. The services were performed flawlessly and

A year ago they took care of my mothers services and they did an excellent job. Now one year later my grandmother passed and they have exceeded our expectations yet again. I can’t praise this family owned business enough. They are compassionate, they treat you like family and they are excellent at what they do. I will always be grateful for them.

Since the 1st day I met with Steve I felt welcome he helped me out with everything. He didn't rush me at all when it came out to picking things out for my mom. He really made me feel like family. I hope I don't have to visit no time soon but if I ever have to again this would be the place to pick. His staff was great too! If I could give you a 10 star I would.

This was the most amazing experience I have ever had in such a sad time.We used them for my mother service. William you are the man. You heard what we wanted and all of the Loomis family went above and beyond. I am so thankful for all of you. There not one thing we would have changed. Thanks so much guys.

Horrible experience. Communication non existent.
Promises made and not kept. 1 star only because they did show up to the funeral.. not with equipment they promised but yep. They showed. I have delayed posting thinking someone would at least call and apologize for lies. Nope.
So, my advice is steer clear of this business.

They were so respectful to myself & my dads widow. They handle everything including getting death certificates to Social Security, as well as arranging their cost through the life insurance. They give you a booklet that gives you all the information you'll need to settle necessary matters swiftly so you can get on with the grieving process. They are truly kind people.

William and team were just amazing. Our fathers passing was by far the most tragic event that has happened to our family and each of us were grieving in such different ways, they were able to remain professional, explain every step of the burial process and even looking to a verity of scenarios that we asked about. They even restocked the peppermint candies that kids kept loading up on. I can not thank them enough for their patients and support. Their slogan should be "Making the worst day of your life, a little less stressful".
