Topics Include: HVAC, Plumbing, Structural and Installation, Roofing, Exteriors, General and Interiors, all as relating to Manufactured Housing.
A Better School of Building Inspection has developed the following online video virtual home inspection to determine your interest and skill in being a home inspector. This gives you an opportunity to complete an "actual" home inspection from the comfort of your own home. In the first video, you "ride along" and see the different areas of an actual house just like a home inspector would.
The NHIE exam is a closed book 4 hour test with 200 multiple choice questions. Since the questions are taken from a pool of thousands of questions, no two tests will be exactly the same. In addition, most states also have a shorter test that includes questions about state rules for home inspectors.
