Dr. Peter Hill, along with the rest of the PetCare Staff, work hard to provide thorough, compassionate care for dogs, cats, birds and other exotic pets. Our mission is to provide all your pets with the most advanced and compassionate level of medical, dental and surgical care possible. PetCare Animal Hospital opened its doors in 1986 in the Blue Ash area of Cincinnati.
Having practiced in Cincinnati for 30 years, Dr. Hill and his team of veterinary technicians, assistants and receptionists have cared for dogs, cats, birds and exotic animals throughout the tri-state area. Along with his full-time schedule caring for dogs, cats, birds and exotics at PetCare Animal Hospital, Dr. Hill is a staff veterinarian at the Newport Aquarium where he treats a variety of exotic animal species.

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Hill has become known throughout the Tri-State area as an expert in the care and treatment of exotic animals, including birds and reptiles. In the clinic, he sees a variety of birds ranging from small parrotlets to large macaws and reptiles that include bearded dragons, iguanas, tortoises and snakes.

I am so happy I found Dr. Zola at the Loveland location.
He is very caring and compassionate when he treats my animals. He takes his time and he makes certain I have no questions or concerns before I leave, which I truly appreciate.
He takes his time with my babies and even during times like nail trims he understands that with exotic creatures sometimes a short break really allows a stressful situation go a lot smoother.
The staff is so friendly. They always make you feel welcomed at home.

I am always able to get an appointment for my rabbit in a reasonable time. Usually the next day, if not the same day. They always respond to emails and give great advice. 100 percent recommend, especially if you have an exotic pet. They know their stuff.

Dr. Hill has been caring for our bird for 15+ years. He is knowledgeable, approachable, friendly, and truly cares for the animals. It's easy to get appointments and they generally run on time.
I also like that there is a location in Blue Ash in addition to Loveland.
I highly recommend PetCare Animal hospital.

I'm going to truly honest. I've been to a ton of vets because I have lived in 3 cities in the past 5 years and have moved all over those cities and have been to 4 different vets. This by far has been the best experience I've had. The receptionist was very friendly and took all my considerations with my dog into account because he doesn't handle other dogs well. Got me back in a room faster then I could finish half a page of my paperwork. The vet was in my room in no time and gave a detailed explanation as to what he was going to do. Took my dog back and completed everything

I brought my cockatiel in after she got into a bit of trouble, the staff was friendly but what I liked most was that Dr. Hill was very personable, I didnt feel like I was being rushed, he answered all of my questions, gave me options and the appt. was timely.
I had been to another Cincinnati avian vet that had gotten great reviews and was notable but hands down I preferred Dr. Hill.
As far as cost, I am originally from NY so the appt. was on the lower end from what I am used to there but I would guess for this area it might be considered expensive.
