Kings Veterinary Hospital is proud to serve the Loveland OH area for everything pet related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Paul LeCompte, who is a licensed, experienced Loveland veterinarian. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.

When you arrive at Kings Veterinary Hospital, you will be greeted by one of our friendly receptionists. We will have a new client form for you to fill out and will ask you for your pet's medical records. If you do not have a copy of their records, please have the name and phone number of your previous veterinarian so that we can make sure that our records are accurate and up to date.

Recently, our dog, Dominic has been suffering with extreme seizures. This had been going on for a while but increasing in severity and number. We realized that at 13, this was an end of life situation.

Do NOT a take your pet here!! I feel they damaged my dogs ears at flip and Steve’s groomer. They are an all in one vet and groomer. Charged me almost $400 in two separate visits. One doctor there said my dogs ears were injured already and another doctor there said the injuries were from the groomer. The office manager was so rude and refused to acknowledge their mistakes.

Our cat recently had a full mouth extraction. He was a rescue and unfortunately the previous owner did not take care of him. Sadly, we needed to remove all of his teeth as he was struggling to eat and his quality of life was declining. As soon as we noticed this, we went to MedVet to see a dental specialist. After the consultation, they quoted us at $3,900-$5,000 for a full mouth. We were willing to pay immediately but after some consulting, we went to Kings' for a second opinion.

I have been taking my min pin to Kings for over a year and they have been amazing! I’ve always been able to get in, even on short notice. They provide my little guy lots of love and patience. They did dental… surgery, spayed him and took care of his shots. We’ve had issues with pinched nerves and they were able to resolve those issues too. Thank you Kings for the amazing service and I will continue to bring my little guy to you!

Want to give a shout out to Dr Beatriz Woodall at Kings Veterinary Hospital❤️ she goes over and beyond for King Jaxie !! We call him the best man too and he is definitely just that 🐾. Jaxie has a rare… stomach cancer . Gastricplasmacytoma . He gets very nauseous and vomits as the tumor grows . We are treating him as it hasn’t affected our love for him and when animals are loved and cared for they know. ❤️🐾 . Anyone looking for an awesome veterinarian call they treat your pet as there own. I first met Dr. Paul in 1995 when he opened his practice. I had just adopted 2 kittens and needed to find them a caring, smart, compassionate, and friendly vet. Dr. Paul checked all those boxes for me, Sparky and Sophie. It was a "gift" meeting him. Dr Paul is an excellent veterinarian and I highly recommend him to look after your furry kids. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice and specifically Dr. Buss. We lay our boxer Mojo to rest yesterday and Dr. Buss was phenomenal yesterday and up to this very sad event. She showed a knowledge of our situation and compassion throughout; always there when we needed her. I've had problems with this place for awhile now, but today was the last straw. My partner brought our dogs in for an annual checkup, and while there, he saw their sharps bin was overflowing with needles! Some were capped, some weren't! Some were just balanced on top, free to roll or stick into an arm! And just to make it worse, it was all next to the Kleenex box that the technicians would reach for and use. This place is just terrible. They will gauge you price wise, insist that your dogs need unnecessary, expensive procedures, and all in an environment that I'm pretty sure the

Seem to be more interested in their revenue than my satisfaction. I understand systems go down. That happens. How you've used it as an excuse NOT to talk to each other internally is disheartening to say the least.
I set up surgery with you all only to get a call back saying you haven't seen the patient in a while and need info now! We were there 18 days ago! Did all the blood work! Got the OK!

I have taken my animals to Kings Vet for many years. I moved away from the area for six years. My experience in my new location was not terrible but not as good as Kong's. Kings Vet is so clean, very organized, and always take the time to explain things to me. Their front desk staff are super busy but very friendly. I know that some mention that they are expensive. I did not see that much of a difference in my rural Ohio location before we returned to the area. In addition, last year I had to take a friend's dog to her vet. What a difference! We have taken our animals to see Dr. Goodman (who is a wonderful vet) for 10 years. Sadly, I think the office staff has lost sight of what comes first - taking care of animals. Our beloved cat Leo needs prescription food and it has been mailed to us on a monthly basis. This month it didn't come. When I tried to speak to Dr. Goodman about this issue, she was hard to reach. The office staff informed us that we had to take Leo in for his annual exam and then they would give us the food. Our whole family was shocked. The most compassionate and knowledgeable veterinary care I've ever been involved with. We met on an emergency based visit and Dr. LeCompte was extremely helpful and quick to help us. After an emergency surgery and a full recovery we are now patients for life. They stayed after hours for emergency surgery and the following day they let me stay all day (literally, until they closed) with her in our own private room. We have three furry babies - 2 dogs and 1 cat. We bring them all here and we absolutely love it. They take the time to actually get to know your animals and we can tell they love them as much as our animals love seeing them. We have seen many different vets there but Dr. Goodman and Dr. Blackmore are who we normally see. They always remember our animals' histories and make sure we understand what goes on during each visit and answer all of our questions. Sadly, our very first trip here was for our cat in 2009. I took her here simply because she was lethargic & did not want to eat. Only to find out she was at the beginning stages of liver failure and we had to put her to sleep. Dr. LeCompte actually took time out of her packed schedule to see us in between each of the appointments. I didn't mind waiting simply because she made time for us when there wasn't any.
