McGee Engineering has produced design projects since 1984, starting up in 1994 under the present name. We incorporated in 2006 and operate as an Oregon corporation. McGee Engineering, Inc. specializes in bridge engineering, bridge contractor support engineering and structural engineering. The company provides bridge designs and bridge construction management services throughout Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and northern California.
McGee Engineering has over 35 years of experience designing permanent and temporary bridges. We have worked on bridge projects for private and public use, for standard highway legal loading and heavy off-highway vehicles (including logging, mining, and construction equipment). We specialize in practical, cost-effective design to maximize structural efficiency while facilitating efficient construction.
McGee Engineering has a long history of providing Construction Support Engineering to bridge contractors across the West Coast. We have experience in all aspects of bridge construction and provide sensible engineering solutions for complex job problems that are catered to each individual contractor.
McGee Engineering has inspected hundreds of bridges for both public and private clients. Depending on client preference, we offer to compile bridge inventories and establish a regular inspection programs to facilitate maintenance of a safe, cost effective bridge infrastructure. We also provide rating calculations for all types of bridges and can calculate bridge capacity for an expected over-load vehicle.
