Mary Collins Real Estate opened for business in 1990 as an independent real estate brokerage. From its inception, the company's founder - Mary Collins - made the cultural choice to operate the business with the highest degree of ethical integrity and to promote goodwill with clients, and the community at large.
As an independent office we have several unique advantages. We offer a cooperative, personable, interactive atmosphere that isn't tethered to a home (or main office) or a set of franchise regulations, we have more autonomy to operate our business, including for the benefit of our clients. Our agents are long time members of the community with a deep knowledge and understanding of the local market and the changing demographics around us.
We are located in beautiful Ulster County, NY in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Our office is located in historic High Falls, NY nestled at the foot of the Catskill Mountains, close to Stone Ridge, Rosendale, and Woodstock. Many of the hamlets and towns in our area date back to as early as the 1600's, and are rich in history.
Mary Collins and her family moved to High Falls in 1968. The Collins family was abundantly welcomed by residents of the Hamlet, who amongst other things, brought homemade food creations and extended welcoming greetings to them in their new community. Mary began her career in real estate in the mid 1970's by serving as an agent at a small independent brokerage in Stone Ridge.
When it comes to buying a home our company's mission is to do what is in the best interests of our clients.
