Bruner Plumbing & Heating
I was born in Portland - yep, I'm a native - and I played football at Grant High School as well as Portland State. I played linebacker, but I could have been a decent fullback if they'd ever given me the ball! I did a tour in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era, then came back and graduated from the University of Oregon.

I'm still a big Duck fan! Starting the solar water heater division of a Portland company became my roundabout way into plumbing. Bruner Plumbing was founded in 1985, and the first year was a struggle as the economy was in the commode. But we made it and began to grow every year. I think what gets us through the down times is that we've built a reputation for top quality materials and treat-it-like-it's-our-own-house service.
Services
1Exceptional kitchens, indulgent baths, comfortable living spaces indoors and out-they all share one essential element: water that works. We make that happen on any size project, from one room to a new home. 2Plumbing has gone high-tech and we make water work in smart new ways. From recirculated hot water to sumptuous radiant heating, from water filtration to rainwater harvesting-if you want modern plumbing, go with Bruner.

If your home is older than, say, early punk rock, then the chances are good that it was built with steel water pipes - which means you risk everything from small inconveniences to major disasters. Give us a call or email. We are happy to help. Is your water flow low? Are your faucets often blocked by rust and metal particles?
Some plumbing issues are pretty obvious - your toilet is doing a good impression of Old Faithful or the bottom has just fallen out of your water heater. Maybe you're surprised to discover the deep, dark waters of Lake Laundry Room in your basement. Some issues are more subtle - your water bill is growing bigger and you aren't using any extra water.
We get excited about all the ways we can contribute to your new or newly remodeled home. Come see us at the same time you see your architect or designer-even if you're doing it yourself-and we can help you plan with top quality fixtures and careful, custom installation. You probably have a lovely living room and a fabulous family room-it doesn't matter, your family lives in the kitchen.

We had Bruner Plumbing put in all new plumbing/hook up to the street line for our tiny house in NE Portland. They were extremely thoughtful, responsive, and skillful throughout the whole process. They went above and beyond numerous times to make sure we met our timeline for our permit approval and could move in as quickly as possible. This included being on site for our plumbing inspection and when we had issues with our shower soon after it was installed they were quick to come back out to fix things. Everyone they sent out to our house was nice, considerate, and did a great job. We couldn&apos

I was given Bruner Plumbings name by a friend and was pleased with all the positive reviews I read. First call was answered and told someone would call me back in a little bit. No call. Day later call from them saying someone would call me that afternoon to schedule work. No call. Week later random called by Bruner plumber who left message saying "answer your phone" I can come now or maybe later today. Wow by then I had called another company who had professional staff who returned my calls and scheduled me and showed up!

An honest plumber, folks. I have only used them once, for a repair that looked major. Once digging began, they said it looked to be a much smaller problem, which would cost about a quarter of their estimate to fix. I OK'd the smaller fix (seemed like the thing to do), and they promptly repaired the problem, sent my deposit check back, billed me for the lower fee, and all was good. I need to emphasize that I would never have had any hint of dishonesty if they had gone ahead and done the major repair for the big bucks. I would've had the repair I agreed to at the price I agreed to, after

They don't come any better than these people!
Courteous, professional, qualified, and very honest!

Bruner Plumbing has saved us time and time again with our plumbing issues in our older Lake Oswego Home!
So punctual, fair, and they always treat us right! They even make great recommendations for other qualified professionals that you may need if you ask them!
It's rare these days to find people so willing to make sure that the customer is completely satisfied!

We have used Bruner Plumbing for several different things around the house in the last couple years. We live in a very old SE house, and it's getting to be that time when things need to be fixed and/or replaced.

They've been out to fix our toilet, pipes, sink, etc. They are always very professional and have great customer service, very helpful suggestions and ideas. I would recommend them to any family and friends. :)

Joe at Bruner Plumbing was amazing. He efficiently fixed my leaking sink and correctly diagnosed the problem with my hot water tap. He was on time, the charge was reasonable and displayed excellent knowledge on how to fix our problems under our kitchen sink. I would recommend him others
