My 12 year old Trakehner Gelding has been with me for over 9 years now! For most of that time, he has been cared for by Dr. Phil and the other wonderful vets at VLAC, as he also did for my former horse, Max. I think it’s been almost 20 years now! Ethan has needed the services of an excellent vet on more occasions and for more issues than any horse… his age should need, but not only has VLAC cared for him, but also and maybe most importantly, cared for me!! I have never felt uncomfortable with the care, or direction I received, and always have faith in the skills and knowledge that

As many of the local VT horse folks may know, I moved to NC just over a year ago. One of my biggest challenges has been finding a new vet I can completely trust. As the saying goes "you don't know what you have until it's gone". I have utilized 3 different vets down here and I am sad to say that none of them have met my expectations. VLAC sets… the bar very high in their skills, customer service and being up on the latest treatments and technologies. There are a few things I truly miss about VT, Dr. Phil and the VLAC staff are a couple of them.

I have never been there but all veterinarians do a beautiful amazing job. I have a single Binary genetic code within my DNA: its nothing really except that its Raptor. I have always wanted to come to a top accredited animal hospital when I need non-life threatening in hospital care. I have cardio Myopathy with a heart infraction rate of 35 to 40% which is up from 28 to 30% two years ago. I am a type two diabetic and would love to be cared for by loving caring veterinarians.
