Although it seems like I've been taking pictures my entire life, my path toward professional photography truly began with the impending birth of my first nephew. Blindly walking into a local camera store I emerged with an all manual 35mm camera and a few rolls of film, and was instantly hooked.
The next few months I obsessively took pictures of everything (and I do mean everything) I could, producing some pathetic landscapes and blurry action shots as well as some black and white images of my grandmother in her home that are invaluable now.Very quickly I realized that while I appreciate interesting composition and artistry, it's the soul and emotion in photographs that makes an image sing.

Nina knows what's she's doing. If you want a good headshot, go get your headshots from Nina. The slightest movement in posture and head angle changes everything, and she knows exactly what would look good. I went in and gave her my idea of what I wanted for my profile picture in a short description and one example photo, and she knew exactly what I was looking for. Thanks, Nina!

Nina was the photographer for our client event last month and she did an amazing job! She captured perfect family photos for our clients (Everyone has raved about how great the photos were!!). She was so sweet with each individual family, made them feel comfortable and created a fun environment. I never like photos of myself, but the ones Nina took of my boyfriend and I were awesome! Our event was outside, so she did a great job of working with the lighting and our backdrop as the lighting changed throughout the day! I would definitely recommend booking Nina!

I called Nina the day after my golden retriever was diagnosed with metastatic cancer. I burst into tears on the phone. She was amazing. She talked me through everything- what to wear, things to consider etc and was able to fit us in the next week. She was phenomenal with my dog and the pictures were outstanding. You can tell she has a passion for her work. I've had professional photos taken with other pets before and these were the best by far. Nina was able to capture my girl and our relationship perfectly. Will definetely use her again in the future. Worth every penny.
