Carolyn Cullity LMT
My name is Carolyn Cullity and I've been helping people feel better with massage therapy since graduating from Cortiva School of Massage in 2010. My style of massage blends many techniques to achieve the best result. These techniques include Neuromuscular Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, Reflexology and Prenatal Massage.

In addition to these modalities, cupping, hot stone, neck warmers, warm bamboo and lymphatic drainage are some of the options I use if I feel the benefits will enhance the outcome. Each visit, we discuss how you're feeling, issues you are having, possible reasons for the problem(s), changes since your last visit and your intended goals.
Services
Trigger points are small 'knots' in the muscles that when compressed create referred pain locally or to other areas of your body. For example, do you ever feel like your neck muscles create a pounding headache behind your eye, base of your skull, or anywhere in your head? Or do your shoulder muscles, when tight from sitting in front of a computer, produce numbness or pain down your arms, even into your hands?
This type of massage therapy focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. Movement is slower, more forceful, pressure deeper and concentrated on area of tension and pain. Chronic muscle tension or injury usually indicated adhesions in muscle, tendons and ligaments that block circulation, causing pain and limit movement.
Are you an athlete in training? Would you like to improve your performance, increase your range of motion and flexibility, reduce the potential for injury, and help to relieve muscle soreness? Whether you're a serious competitor, an athlete in some way or a mere gym junkie, intense training tends to generate scar tissue in the muscle and fascia, which over time may result in limited range of motion in muscles.
I travel to your location and provide seated massage in an ergonomically designed chair. The sessions are typically short, 10 or 15 minutes, unless longer sessions are requested. Chair massage is done over clothes, and focuses on your back, shoulders, neck, arms and hands. This is a rewarding break for your staff!
When you make an appointment during the month of December, your name will be entered into a drawing for a free massage. If you have ever wondered which session is the best choice for you, here are a few things to consider: - Do you have any places you would like to focus on and also want a full body massage?

Carolyn gave me a massage to break up adhesions in my soft tissues that were causing me pain. I felt tremendous relief from her thorough body work massage. She offered suggestions for pain relief at home and stretches to heal. She made me aware of the source of my pain so I could find the right chiropractor, too. I'm very grateful for her support in my healing journey.

Carolyn is amazing at what she does. I started seeing her regularly after a car accident left me with bulging discs in my cervical spine that created a lot of pain. She was able to relieve the tension in my neck and shoulders and I'm as good as new! Thank you so much!

I had been suffering with limited mobility in my right shoulder. My wife is a massage therapist and encouraged me to go to Carolyn for "cupping" and laser treatment. I went in skeptical but it was magic. After the first treatment I had tremendous increase in range of motion and dramatic decrease in pain. The second treatment also saw a large step forward. I rarely write a review but this one is sincere. Well done Carolyn

Carolyn at Therapeutic Massage & Reflexology in Lakeland is amazing! I was having severe sciatica issues when I went to see her. She worked on me twice and managed to work out the badness completely! Whether you're looking for a true massage healer or just a nice hour of relaxation, Carolyn is the massage therapist that you're seeking!

I had moved back to Lakeland and was having considerable trouble with plantar fasciitis and pain in my leg for almost a year. After going to to doctors, still having debilitating pain and knowing that therapeutic massage could be very helpful I was fortunate enough to receive a gift certificate for a massage. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to Carolyn for getting me back on my feet, literally, and having much better use of my leg without the terrible soreness. I can actually walk without limping. She answered my questions so patiently and explained in detail what she was doing. She

I am a retired massage therapist who has both received and given many many massages. It took me a while, but I finally found my perfect therapist. I have ongoing back issues and Carolyn has been the only therapist who has helped me. I could sing her praises forever but, bottom line, if you need a professional, knowledgeable and affective therapist, she is your girl.
