My four children are the driving force behind Growing Healthy Together. I love my children, and want the very best for them. As modern healthcare professionals, we knew that to limit ourselves by utilizing only Western medicine was akin to tying one hand behind our backs as parents. When it comes to the health and well-being of my own children, half just isn't good enough.

Our goal at Growing Healthy Together is to bring outstanding, fully integrative pediatric and holistic family health care, and support to our Long Beach area families in raising the healthiest, happiest children.
For all Concierge Plan patients, vaccines will no longer be included in the fee. The fee will continue to be $65 per month, but Concierge patients will be charged for each vaccine used. Concierge plan patients will be receiving vaccines at the VFC (the Vaccines for Children Program) retail rate of $26.03 per vaccine, a statewide rate for those that qualify for the vaccine program.

Growing Healthy Together means open communication with your child's holistic pediatrician.
Like many pediatric providers, Growing Healthy Together strongly believes in protecting our patients and the community from vaccine-preventable illness while supporting and respecting families' personal beliefs. From the medical perspective, we think it's important that each of our patients follows an appropriate vaccine schedule.

I do not understand why this place receives good reviews. We just moved to the area and went here based upon Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, that was the wrong choice as we had the worst health care interaction for our child to-date.
First, the associates tried to label us as self-pay despite the fact that our insurance was presented upon arrival. None of the associates seemed to know what to do or what was going on. This was indicated by the fact that the first provider that arrived assumed that our infant was there for his 6 month check-up, even though we specified that he was there for his 4 month

My sons have been coming here since birth (age 3 years and 6 months) and we absolutely love them! Heather is my kids pediatrician and she is always so sweet and listens to my concerns and my kids love her (and all the pretty nurses!)
We’ve also had the pleasure of having a few appointments with Mike and Nancy and they were just as pleasant. I will recommend them forever!

Excellent. Excellent. Excellent. Every time we visit we are comfortable and leave happy. There's a feeling here like you are family. Our toddler is always in a good mood and we can tell the staff genuinely care about their visitors. We are very blessed to have Dr. Nikki and Dr. Mike. I wish all children were lucky enough to have pediatricians like them.

I checked with my insurance prior making appointments regarding copay and eligibility and was told there won't be any copay since it's annual check up. it is 100% covered. also asked the front office on 2 phone calls and in person during visit regarding any co-pay and they said with my ppo it's 100% covered. no extra charge.
now almost 7 months later i am recieving a surprise bill that didn't make any sense at all.
i called my insurance who told me there shouldn't be any bills. ( especially now after 7 months) with no clarification of what's the bill is for??? the Totaled on their end it's paid

My family loves Growing Healthy Together! The staff are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Mike is the absolute best. He truly cares about his patients and goes above and beyond to do what's best for the kids. I have a teenager, a preschooler and a toddler who come here. We have been coming here for about 7 years. I moved out of the area a couple of years ago and drive over an hour and a half each way but it is totally worth it. If you are looking for a health care provider that will actually listen to you and treat you and your children like family, GHT is the place to go:-)

Physician: Heather Perris. Our family consistently had a supportive, informative experience with Growing Healthy Together overall and especially through practitioner Heather Perris. We have since relocated and are unfortunately out of network. We have yet to find a comparable pediatric care experience more as focused on health, education, and holistic and supportive family care as GHT. We hope to find a practitioner as dedicated, unique, and well-informed. Thank you for guiding our family and son through his first 1.5 years of life.

Amazing!! Both of my kids come here and we ALL love it. Nurse practitioner Nancy is our favorite :) her demeanor is compassionate and fun, plus shes got some skills.
When our insurance was no longer accepted by them, we kept coming. Paying out of pocket for a holistic health provider that actually cares about their patients and their informed consent is great 👍

I absolutely love the doctors here! And I really would like to give them a 5 star rating but my issue is with the young lady they have working at the front desk, TIA! She is always so rude. Very short. I called to reschedule my sons appointment, the availability they had didn’t match my schedule for a day I wanted so I asked “ do you have anything earlier” she than says “ “2 pm and 3pm” I asked about a different day and she provided me the available times. I chose a time finally. And the only words that came out of her mouth were “you’ll be meeting with heather” No MANNERS! If

They are the best! Clean and quiet waiting room, friendly staff, and not long wait time. The doctor is not your average white coat, stiff, read what's off your chart and tell you what you have to do doctor. He is a very kind man that welcomes his patients and shows that he actually cares for children and supports parents choices while providing you with the care and information that you need. Me and my husband are so glad we found them!
