Services
Located in Palo Alto, our spa provides a true immersion into Korean spa culture in light-filled urban oasis dedicated to wellness and inner calm. Immersion Spa & Sauna is inspired by ancient Korean practices, consisting of Jjimjilbangs (Korean spas), refreshing full body scrubs, and traditional Acupressure massage.
A traditional pressure point massage that targets your body's meridians to revitalize your body. It uses finger pressing, kneading, tapping, and stretching techniques and is performed without oil. It is most intense and could leave soreness. It is not recommended to someone who is looking for relaxation.
Korean Body Scrub + shampoo. Refresh your skin with traditional Korean scrub by removing unwanted dead cells and revealing soft, bright skin underneath. It is also known as Akasuri. Korean Body Scrub + 30 min Moisturizing Massage. Enjoy the Silky Scrub with a moisturizing massage using organic coconut oil followed by warm milk rinse to relax your body.
Come in to soak, steam, and relax! Natural light cascades down and fills the spa while you enjoy the comfort of a good soak or refreshing dip. The hot pool soothes the body and opens up pores, while the chiller pool does the reverse by stimulating the skin and tightening up pores. You can breathe easy in our Eucalyptus infused steam sauna, or recharge you energy in our herbal infused dry sauna.
My friend Arcadia Kim has three children and a Harvard business degree, but when she tried to negotiate on our behalf with the lady in charge of exfoliation at the Dragonhill Spa in Seoul, she did not stand a chance.

We were standing in the heart of the jimjilbang, or Korean bathhouse, in a steaming, all-female bathing room where scrubs are administered (as they are across the land) by strict middle-aged women, more than a few of them with potbellies, who wear nothing but sexy black lace bras and underwear.

The service was professional, more than I could have expected, and the practitioner was sweet and nurturing. I will definitely be back a lot.

After years of not being able to access a Korean Spa, loving in a remote area, this was just what I wanted. Park worked out years of dead skin and tight back muscles! They had all the soaps, lotion and even tooth brushes you need to feel fresh!

The time communicated to me was 6.45. After reaching there the front desk said, it was 6.30 and it was communicated wrongly to me as the shop closes at 8. I have booked 1.5 hours of fusion massage. I lost my time and since 7.30, music was off and I just heard cleaning sound and very unpleasant. They rushed to finish by 7.55 itself though they started late. It's a total rip off of my

2nd time here with the first time being waaay before the pandemic.

Overall the facility is great and the people were really nice.

Positive feedback: overall clean facility. Everyone is told that they must rinse before going into the pool and be naked. They provide all the amenities such as towel, robes, lotion, shampoo, blow dryer and qtips.

The masseuse, Anne, was nice. She would ask every so often if I was ok, if the water was ok or how I was doing. The scrub and massage was great as well. Wish I can go once a week!

Cons: I did observe 2 women that came after me did not rinse and wore

Not the biggest Korean spa I've ever seen, but they have a jet jacuzzi, ice pool, steam/dry saunas and a salt room (salt room was under maintenance when I was there. I got a scrub and massage - the service was perfect and fairly priced. Aveda products were wonderful, and everything was sparkling clean.

I used to love this place, but it has been going down hill. Broken steam room, then a broken jacuzzi, but no mention of it from the checkin attendant. No extra towels in the spa area, a 2hr time limit and wait lists leftover from past covid restrictions.

Speaking of wait list, today I was told I was "next on the wait list" but after waiting for 1/2 hour the attendant says there are 2 people ahead of me. What? What's the point of telling somebody they're "next"? And no mention of the people ahead of me initially. I asked for the attendant's first name and she

Just know you don't get to use the facility two hours after a service. My massage was fine just disappointed at the unclear policy. Online it says to show up 15mins before your massage (I thought I would get to use the facility at least the 2 hours after); however, they limit your time in the facility after the service to 1 hr. So if you do a massage, just know you only have 1hr after the massage to use the facility, which is really short in my opinion. Also, you can't use the pools after the massage, cause of the oils they rub on. I didn't enjoy my time here this day since they

Updated December 2021:
This has been my go-to spa in the south bay area. They provide really good massages and Korean scrubs. The Aveda products used here are a highlight.
I take one star off mainly for two reasons:
- It is not rare to encounter loud clients here. That could be quite annoying when you're trying to relax your nerves. I hope more people learn the basic spa etiquette.
- The steam room and dry sauna room are on the smaller end. On weekends they get packed very easily.
Overall it is a nice Asian style spa!

Unprofessional front desk manager. This place is used to be nice. Not anymore, the front desk manager is rude and unprofessional. They don’t seem to care about loyal customers. Message to the owner of this place, be careful who you choose to run your business. You should check on your front desk staff if you don’t want to lose the business slowly as you go. People go to the spa for the experience from front desk to all the services they get in the back.

This place is not for anyone shy when it comes to nudity. It is a traditional Korean Bath House, or culturally known as Jimjilbang.

This experience is for those looking to relax, detox and let go of whatever might be stressing you out. I recommend a body scrub. It'll leave you feeling fresh and your skin silky smooth. If you're feeling tense, add on the massage. You won't regret it. There is an atm on site but bring cash. TIP YOUR MASSEUSE! They work hard to make you feel good. Show your appreciation. :)

The only other spa I can compare this to is the one in Santa Clara (Family

Oh my gosh, where do I begin?

Since I couldn't find anything on the website, I will give you the heads-up now, dear Yelp-reader. You will be naked, on a table, in an open room with dividers. This just wasn't for me. I'm a private person who was expecting a private room, with a sheet, and my underwear. Again, why is there not a blurb on the website?

I was not prepared for this place. Everyone is naked. There are no stalls, no curtains, just nakedness. There were tons of people here, that's great that this is how they relax. I was super uncomfortable and counting down the minutes

I went for my birthday and came out so refreshed with the softest skin of my adult life. Highly recommend the Pure Bliss Plus with Kay, but honestly I'm sure they're all great. So relaxing, soothing, welcoming! Definitely on my list to come back before my next beach vacation.

I recently went to this spa and had one of the workers there physically assault me while I was trying to leave the spa. I was completely naked and she was slamming me into the wall, throwing me on the floor etc. I also got SCABIES during this same visit from this spa which was either from that worker or negligence in cleaning the shower. It was completely traumatizing can you even imagine getting beat up while in such a vulnerable state?

I tried many times to contact management but they refuse to let me talk to anyone in charge. I've had my husband and many other friends try to contact and

I've been to this spa several times in the past few years, and I've enjoyed the experience every time. I had a great experience chatting and checking in with the front desk, and the massage that I came in for was incredibly relaxing. I usually do a full scrub and massage, but I decided to keep it simple and signed up for the deep tissue massage. Helen was the staff member who worked on me, and she was very very thorough. I've never had someone walk on my back before, and even the stretches were so satisfying (back cracking!) If I lived in the area, I would be coming in much more frequently! By

Loved everything about this place. The service was great and we felt so relaxed after our treatment.

I never tried a Korean scrub before and I was mind blown first experience here. Why haven't I been here until now??? My skin is so soft and body felt so relaxed.

We give our experience a 5 star and I'll definitely be coming back.

Today was my first time back in over 5 years and I won't be waiting 5 years again.

Let me start off by warning you, this is not a regular American spa. It is as close to a spa in Korea as I've found in the bay area, and personally I really enjoyed it. If you haven't had a Korean scrub before, it is not a delicate scrub that you might get at the Ritz with slightly exfoliating beads and a soft touch. The ajuma's (Korean women's) sole goal is to scrub every last dead skin cell off your body and they do that with skill and speed. By the time they're done scrubbing, you

Deep tissue with Helen

This place did NOT test temperatures or enforce social distancing at the front desk. They did require masks.

Locker room/bathroom area clean. I did not use the amenities since mask use was iffy among the patrons. I didn't see an attendant who would enforce that anyway.

Massage room was standard. Helen communicated well through out the massage and adjusted pressure accordingly. The hot towels were way too hot off the bat and I jumped from the shock. However, This was the deepest deep tissue massage I have EVER had. I actually felt bruised for a few days later. Helen

I have been visiting this spa for years. I love their body scrub service.

But today, 09/04/2021, I am so sad to realize it is so rude a company. I lost my AirPod and find it by Find my device function through Apple. I drove back 30 minutes to this spa. The front desk lady is so rude, she said the store is closing After 10 minutes and I need to wait out side. After 9 PM, she check the locker I used and find nothing. I told her that it is still inside the spa I can find it by ringing it. She refused me to enter and saying they are closed. I said I will call police. She called her manager and she

I scheduled a deap tissue massage here and truely enjoyed my experience. I left feeling relaxed and peacefully.

I arrived a bit early to use the spa facility and highly recommend it. They have a huge parking lot so parking is not an issue.

They give you a robe upon arrival and let you use the hot tub, salt room, steam room and sauna.

The spa felt clean and relaxing with smooth soft music playing throughout.

In what could best be described as an effective enhanced interrogation technique, the Korean bath scrub is life altering. I first discovered this in Seoul when someone gifted me a full body scrub and massage. Depending on the size of the spa, there are multiple restaurants, salt stone rooms, cold plunges, hot tubs, steam rooms, and saunas.
Immersion spa is the fancy American version with Aveda skin products.

First go in and unrobe. Then take a shower in one of their stalls. After this, depending on the time you have, hop in the hot tub. If you have extra time you could enjoy the cold tub (I
